Azshara’s Veil Farming Guide

This Azshara’s Veil farming guide can help you find the best route for picking this common herb in Cataclysm. This underwater plant can be found in several different places, but the best place to farm Azshara’s Veil will be the Shimmering Expanse subzone in Vashj’ir.

• Azshara’s Veil requires an Herbalism skill of 425
• Found in Tol Barad Peninsula, Mount Hyjal, and all three subzones of Vashj’ir (Shimmering Expanse, Abyssal Depths, and Kelp’thar Forest)

Vashj’ir: Shimmering Expanse

• This is the best location to farm Azshara’s Veil, with good density and respawn rate.
• This route is very close to our Stormvine route, and the two can be farmed very well together here.

Vashj’ir: Abyssal Depths

• This is the next best option if the Shimmering Expanse is being farmed by other players.
• You can also farm Stormvine here, but the locations don’t completely match up.

Vashj’ir: Kelp’thar Forest

• Kelp’thar Forest is not a great place to farm, but we’ve included this map in case the other locations don’t work for you for some reason.
• Like Stormvine, you’ll find Azshara’s Veil clumped along a line through the center of the area, with no nodes found in the higher elevations or down in the chasm.

Tol Barad Peninsula

• Vashj’ir will generally be the best place to farm Azshara’s Veil, but there are plenty of nodes in Tol Barad Peninsula if you don’t care for underwater zones. Keep in mind that this is a higher level area and you will not be able to fly here.
• Azshara’s Veil can be found mainly in the canal that cuts through the center of the zone as well as in the Cape of Lost Hope.

Mount Hyjal

• The nodes in this zone are too few and spread out too far for it to be worth farming here. However, you may be able to pick up a few herbs here while you farm Cinderbloom or Stormvine.
