Jewelcrafting Guide 1-525

Cataclysm’s Jewelcrafting (JC) profession offers players an opportunity to craft rings, necklaces, and various gems that can enhance the abilities of gear. This guide is designed to lead you through the process from levels 1-525, ensuring efficient leveling with optimal material usage. • 30-50:
  • Craft Tigerseye Band using Tigerseye and the Delicate Copper Wire you made earlier.
  • You will need to craft this recipe 20 times.
  • You’ll need a total of 20 Tigerseye and the 20 Delicate Copper Wire you previously crafted.

Journeyman: 50 – 150

• 80-100 (Simple Pearl Ring alternative):

• 225-250:
  • Craft Thorium Setting. Save these for later recipes.
• 250-260:
  • Craft Ruby Pendant of Fire using Star Ruby and Thorium Setting.
• 260-280:
  • Craft Simple Opal Ring with Large Opal and Thorium Setting.
• 280-287:
  • Craft Diamond Focus Ring using Azerothian Diamond and Thorium Setting.
• 287-290:
  • Craft Sapphire Pendant of Winter Night with Blue Sapphire, Essence of Undeath, and Thorium Setting.
• 290-300:
  • Craft Emerald Lion Ring using Huge Emerald and Thorium Setting.

Master: 300 – 350

• 40 Adamantite Powder (obtained from 200 Adamantite Ore).

• 10 Mercurial Adamantite (crafted from 325-335).

• 300-320:
  • Cut 30 various green quality gems from the list provided for levels 300-320. The exact gems will depend on availability and market conditions.
• 320-325:
  • Continue cutting various green quality gems. You will need an additional 5-7, depending on skill gains.
• 325-335:
  • Craft 10 Mercurial Adamantite. This will require 40 Adamantite Powder and 10 Primal Earth.
• 335-340:
  • Cut various green quality gems from the list provided for levels 335-340. You will need approximately 5-7, depending on skill gains.
• 340-350:
  • Craft 10 Heavy Adamantite Rings using 10 Adamantite Bar and the 10 Mercurial Adamantite you crafted earlier.

Grand Master: 350 – 425

Materials Summary

• Approx. 55 Northrend green quality gems.
• 10 Crystallized Earth.
• 46 Eternal Earth (and possibly 23 Eternal Shadow if crafting Shadowmight Ring).
• 5 Titanium Bar.
• 5 Dream Shard.
• 5 Forest Emerald.

Instructions

• 350-395:
  • Cut approximately 55 assorted Northrend green quality gems, available in various types like Bloodstone, Chalcedony, Dark Jade, Huge Citrine, Shadow Crystal, and Sun Crystal.
• 395-400:
  • Craft any of the following rings 5 times: Bloodstone Band, Crystal Chalcedony Amulet, Crystal Citrine Necklace, or Sun Rock Ring. Adjust the number based on the skill gains received during crafting.
• 400-420:
  • Craft either 23 Stoneguard Bands (using 46 Eternal Earth) or 23 Shadowmight Rings (using 23 Eternal Earth and 23 Eternal Shadow), depending on the availability and price of materials.
• 420-425:
  • Craft 5 Dream Signets using 5 Titanium Bars, 5 Dream Shards, and 5 Forest Emeralds. Adjust quantities based on skill gains as needed.

Illustrious: 425 – 525

Materials Summary

• Approximately 75 Uncommon Cataclysm gems (exact count may vary, and types needed depend on the recipes chosen).
• 45 Jeweler’s Settings.
• 16 Hessonite.
• 40 Nightstone.
• Additional materials for 495-525 will depend on the specific recipes chosen and may include a variety of uncommon and rare gems, as well as possibly other materials.

Instructions

• 425-450:
  • Cut approximately 25 uncommon Cataclysm gems or craft Jasper Rings, depending on the materials available and the market on your server.
• 450-467:
  • Continue cutting uncommon gems or craft Hessonite Bands as materials allow.
• 467-475:
  • Craft Hessonite Bands or Carnelian Spikes, depending on your materials and the market.
• 475-495:
  • Craft Nightstone Chokers using Jeweler’s Settings and Nightstone.
• 495-520:
  • From this point, most recipes will be purchased from vendors, and you will need to complete Jewelcrafting daily quests to obtain the necessary currencies. Craft items based on the recipes you have available, with a focus on those that provide the most skill points per craft.
• 520-525:
  • Craft high-level jewelry using the best recipes you have available until you reach skill level 525.
