Ramkahen Reputation Guide

The Ramkahen are a tribe of tol’vir, feline humanoids who inhabit the desert land of Uldum. They are based in the primary city in the zone, which is also called Ramkahen.

Players start at Neutral with the faction. This guide will get you as far as Exalted with the Ramkahen.

Who Needs Ramkahen Rep?

Most characters will find something worthwhile at the Ramkahen Quartermaster, but in particular:

• Agility DPS will want to reach Revered so they can pick up the Arcanum of the Ramkahen to enchant their helm with Agility and Haste.
• Caster DPS will want Exalted for the Desert Walker Sandals, with their Intellect, Haste, Hit, and yellow socket with +Hit bonus.
• Plate wearers of all stripes will find something worth getting Exalted for: Sandguard Bracers for tanks, Sun King’s Girdle for Holy Paladins, and Gift of Nadun for Strength DPS.

Mount collectors will be after the two camel mounts you can get at Exalted:

• Reins of the Brown Riding Camel
• Reins of the Tan Riding Camel

Furthermore, achievement hunters will want to max out Ramkahen reputation for the following achievements:

• Ramkahen
• 40 Exalted Reputations (Title: “The Exalted”)

How to Get Ramkahen Reputation

To gain reputation with the Ramkahen, you’ll first need to complete quests in the Uldum zone until at least Friendly. You can get well into Honored by completing the first half of the zone’s storyline (the second half does not give any reputation).

Once you’re Friendly, you’ll have two other options to continue gaining reputation with the faction. The first is by wearing a Tabard of Ramkahen in Cataclysm dungeons. This tabard can be purchased at Friendly and will work all the way through Exalted.

The other option is to complete daily quests in Uldum. We’ll cover those in their own section below.

Ramkahen Quests

Completing quests in the Uldum zone is the only way to reach Friendly with the Ramkahen and unlock the faction’s tabard and daily quests.

To start the Uldum quest chain, you can head to the Hero’s Call Board/ Warchief’s Command Board in your faction’s capital city. Uldum is a level 83-84 zone, so you’ll need to be at least level 83 to be able to pick up the breadcrumb quest, which is Hero’s Call: Uldum!/ Warchief’s Command: Uldum!

Alternatively, you may pick up a breadcrumb quest chain in Deepholm. None of these quests grant Ramkahen reputation, but they do lead you to Uldum:

• Fly Over
• Twilight Plot
• Decryption Made Easy
• Fight Fire and Water and Air with…
• The Wrong Sequence
• That’s No Pyramid!
• Meetup with the Caravan

Below you’ll find a complete list of quests in Uldum that give Ramkahen reputation along with how much is granted. Note that the second half of the zone’s quest chain does not give any reputation, but it does unlock one of the two daily quests in the zone.

Ramkahen Dungeons

Reaching Friendly reputation with the Ramkahen will allow you to purchase a Tabard of Ramkahen from the quartermaster in the city of Ramkahen. Wearing this tabard inside any level 85 Cataclysm dungeon will grant you reputation for enemies killed inside the dungeon.

Ramkahen Daily Quests

There are two daily quests that you can unlock in Uldum to gain additional Ramkahen reputation. These quests are unlocked by completing the main story quests in the zone.

Thieving Little Pluckers is unlocked early in the quest chain after completing the quest Impending Retribution. This daily gives 150 Ramkahen reputation when completed.

Fire From the Sky is unlocked near the end of the quest chain, after completing the regular quest of the same name. This daily gives 250 Ramkahen reputation when completed.

Ramkahen Reputation Rewards

The rewards listed below can be purchased from Blacksmith Abasi, the Ramkahen Quartermaster, who can be found in the city of Ramkahen in Uldum (54.0, 33.2).
