Hello all!
I recently got into WoW after putting it off for so many years. I am having the time of my life and what has really hooked me has been the lore surrounding everything. I thought it would be a cool project to go through the WoW novels and just do a podcast and talk about it all and maybe have other lore-heads join in on everything.
I just looked over the reading order that @OrinDac had posted in the forums and have ordered a few books but I think i'll try to read whatever I can get my hands on first.
Does this sound interesting enough to listen to?
Hey there, Shin. First, while I haven't exactly played in a bit, welcome to Azeroth and all of the other worlds of WoW. The lore is indeed rich, vast and at times, overwhelming. I honestly think it's a really cool idea, though be careful, as the lore gets retconned a lot in WoW, which some folks find irksome. I'm glad you found my read order article helpful, and thanks for the read!
I'm not the most learned WoW lore enthusiast on the internet, but I know a few things, and I've scoured both Kaimdor and The Eastern Kingdoms a lot, so if you'd like, I'd be happy to be part of the conversation.
Thanks for your interest, and have a wonderful day.
When I get it all situated (figure out a catchy name) I'd gladly have you on! I think it would be really cool to hear from someone who has played the other 'eras' of this game, especially since shadowlands was my introduction.
Do you have discord?! I'd love to add you to my server and we can chop it up about WoW
I would like a lore podcast, did this ever happen?
