So im level 17 Undead Priest, now there is a problem that its weak .... i use as my rotation the following:
start with level 2 renew
follow with
smite level 3
follow with
mind blast level 2
and pain dot level 2
finish with wanding till mob dead.
will later stage when i will have shadow form it will be more fun and stronger ? obvisliy i dont want to wand all my gameplay ... if im going to wand when i have shadow form as well, maybe iu should reroll to mage...
Why do you start with renew instead of shield?
I'm playing a Troll Priest, level 18 and basically I do this :
Shield, Mind Blast, Word of Pain, Wand. I have 5 points in wand specialisation and the rest in Spirit Tap, I never, ever need to stop to drink and I kill mobs faster than most classes. I played with my Shaman friend yesterday and he was like "holy fuck you hit like a truck".
Shadowform becomes better at level 40, you get many increase to shadow damages in your talents, but wands are still useful because it doesn't use any mana and you can start regaining mana while fighting.
If you don't want to wand, reroll something that can't hold a wand, because it's a core part of every cloth class while leveling. Unless you want to spent your time and money drinking.
Also, I don't see the problem with using a wand? It's not different from spamming a spell or a melee attack.

Well, as I said, you're not supposed to have any mana issue as a Priest.
I agree with Neoh shield should be prioritised.
