Naxx for me is the most fun raid of classic but I know from how private servers go that many many people are happy enough to stop playing altogether once they've killed KT once or twice. Are you going to keep raiding? Would TBC on the horizon change that? I know a lot of people see Naxx time as wasted effort as TBC gives so many good upgrades. But I'd think that if you enjoy your raid group maybe it would be hard to find a good fit so it'd be worth it to reserve a spot.
For me I hope that enough people will want to keep raiding since it'd be a shame to not be able to keep enjoying raiding every week simply because we technically beat the game. I didn't keep showing up to BWL or MC (like I need anything in there at this point) because I was only doing it to get to Naxx. I do it because it's fun to do each week.

It's my goal to get full t3, plus the upgrades in TBC are only meaningful if we don't copy our characters over to a fresh server, we'll have to wait and see what the deal is with that.
I keep asking myself the same thing. The part of me that was thrilled when Classic launched wants me to keep clearing Naxx every week for years to come. But I sit here about 14 months into the game and am finding AQ40 to be less fun than MC and BWL was. I don't think I am tanking it particularly well, and feel like I don't understand how to work the AQ40 trash packs. I feel like I need to put in some time to study what is going on so I can be a better tank, but unlike in the first few phases of the game I really don't want to. I've never been in Naxx before in any expansion, so it's going to be all new for me. But I'll have to wait and see if it's as fun as MC and BWL was. Right now raiding feels like a chore.

I play the game because its fun not because I want to beat a boss.
I know I will still be playing as long as the game is fun not because I know naxx and kel'thuzad is the last raid/boss.
I know some people may get burnt out after clearing naxx.
If thats the case maybe WoW should have been a single player game on playstation.
Once you beat WoW you move on to another game.

Right now members are mostly burned out, 6/8 officer's stopped playing over the last month and from our two cores we only half like 25 players left.
At the moment I mostly help late comers, daddy gamers and 4th wave of alts get into raiding, because it's less doom and gloom than our single raid remaining a couple of /gquits short of disbanding.
If naxx provides us with new and returning players I will probs continue to raid till we switch to TBC, sharing emotions with 39 or more players is still appealing to me :biggrin:
Otherwise, if we do disband in the next couple of weeks, I just finish odds and ends like getting my priest and hunter to 60 and getting / doing their respective MC epic quests. Hunter is 58 and priest 51 so it's not a long way to Tipperary :wink:
I won't probably just move on with a new guild, as this is usually like a ranking game of it's own: you start as trial without any net gain and work yourself up through the hoops. It's too late for that, CBA. Open for a merge of course, had good experiences with that in the past.

Im not sure, if we get fresh realms i would only clear naxx a few times I think, since i would rather reroll fresh if possible. But since we dont know what will happen im not sure. Time will tell.
