Wew lads
I got a bad draw with work this week and am travelling all week away from home and didn't bring a laptop. I just hit 49 last night but am gonna miss a week and basically log back in to the Dire Maul patch. Was hoping to be 60 before new stuff started becoming available.
Looks like I'm gonna make my final 49-60 push ASAP when I get home and try to wrap it up within two weeks. I won't make it to 60 before DM, but I hope to make it there before phase 2.
I don't have much of an opinion on the release schedule itself. Blizzard is gonna release when they're gonna release. All I can control is my own pace. It's time to wrap up my levelling soon.
Pretty much this.
I'm level 46 and was really enjoying just taking it slowly when I got the chance to play, now I'm feeling like I need to pick up the pace if the honour system is dropping sooner than expected.
Other than that, it'll be cool to run DM again and have some better pre-BiS options.
I am 37 atm.
I dont care if new content to be relesed before i get to 60.
Probably i will be raid ready in 2 months and i know that there will be people like me when i get there.
I have a job that requires all of my time, and i am not talking about 40h a week job. I work from 8am to 7pm every day (7 days a week).
Yes it is inhuman but current situation is like this.
I try to run everyday for an hour, and socialise 2 days a week. So i can play like 12 hours a week.
AAAAnd i am ok with that. In 2 months i will raid MC,and i feel good about it. By that time all speed runners, greedy looters will be moved forward and i will raid with people that like me (works a lot and have kid/kids).
So i will make friends and go battle shoulder to shoulder with the likes of me :)
Ugh, as a level 36 Shaman who has about 4-5 hrs a week to play, this makes me stressed.
Level 40 Shaman here, exactly how i feel..
I bet that the biggest problem is all these streamers probably have done almost everything and are already bitching: "WhErE's nEw CoNteNt?!"
I used to watch them when I was playing retail a bit, but since classic launched I can't stand them. I don't know why, probably because of the layers and them taking gold while they said that they won't do it before launch. Also there's this "GIVE ME THAT" when a huge item drops and they think that they're entitled to get it and almost every time they do because the fans will give it to them so that these little ego shits are satisfied and chat can spam Pog. And there are these custom made events by them where they gather and do random shit that just looks stupid.
I'm happy that they decided to play on the same realm and not bother the people who want to enjoy the game without this BS.
Cool, the split phase2 - but why :p?

To keep the dopamine levels up.
Contrary to my assumptions, it seems there is an higher % of people at level 55+.
Since we never had any schedule about phases we can't judge if this was planned or not, from the looks of it, it wasn't, Dire Maul will only give players one more thing to do, while PvP patch can shake things a bit, if it comes later this month instead of end of December, it can cause struggle to people close to 60 due to the fact that this time, people know how to farm honor from the get go, know how to make/already have set up good premade groups for WPvP, I will for sure be caught in it while still leveling, but again, I don't know any dates regarding the PvP patch, maybe I will already be lv60 full BiS and a Thunderfury in my bags because I can't use it.
Slow down, Blizzard! At this rate we’ll reach phase 6 in less than a year.
Changes so soon means the game will probably be destroyed by a stupid expansion within the next year. Guess I'll just enjoy it while I can before the game says goodbye to me again. Looks like they are doomed to repeat their own destruction again.
The guild I'm in has a couple hundred people over level 55 and three full raid teams and I'm hearing people ask for raid teams 4 and 5. We got plenty of people ready to go.
I wonder if good groups will be taking non-60's or not. I'm about to be 55.
Theyre releasing content too early. I get basement dwelling neckbeards want their dreadsteeds so bad they cant wait.
If they continue releasing content early on behalf of no lifers and ban folks over political opinions i might sit this one out.
I don't know what to think about the release. I am currently lvl 51, playing slow and enjoying levelling while I can (hello honour system). On the one hand I can't wait to do DMs again, and on the other hand I feel like this is too soon for the majority of the player base.
We'll see. Too late for Blizzard to postpone anyway so we better accept that and move on!
It is too soon for folks who have duties, responsibilities, deadlines and commitments throughout the week. Im blindly assuming this is to cater to folks who have plenty of time on their hands.
I'm neutral on this, disappointment is a part of the WoW experience and as we largely know what the future holds they will have to let us down in the few ways they have left. We do have a couple of mentalists in our guild that will be pleased and this will certainly hold them until Oct 21st.
Dire Maul being released early isn't the end of the world on its own, but if it becomes a trend to push out updates ahead of schedule in order to satisfy a vocal minority, then they're going to deprive the casual majority of a pre-BWL, pre-ZG, pre-AQ, etc Classic experience. Blizzard needs to think critically about what made the game appealing to so many different kinds of players in the first place and why they gradually fell off as WoW progressed towards its modern form.
By the way, Free Hong Kong.
Feel free to ban me.

Considering this is an unofficial form, this edgy reply doesn't mean much: I sympathize with the Hong Kong People and want them to be free too, but this is probably the least useful place to express that support.
