@godest He is an older poster who isn’t really on here any more. He got banned like six times because all his posts were shitposting but just kept marking new accounts and starting threads like this one.

Ahh lol what a sad guy, wonder what he got out of it. Triggered by classic or something

I’m not sure, he seemed like he was super into it but all his posts were essentially “Classic is the greatest, but X part of it was bad, and the solution is Y feature from Z expansion”, except he always acted like whatever he was suggesting was his own original idea that hadn’t been tried yet. He got banned after repeated warnings about starting new threads on topics that already exist.

He actually played on my server but I haven’t seen him in game in a long time.

Oh I see, bet he will be bummed then when blizz most likely announce tbc classic later this year or early next year (Whenever they are gonna have that live only blizzcon).

You know it! That and his various other “random wow np name” personas.

That guy was so... strange. He seemed to have many agendas but none of them really met into any kind of coherent argument. It was really odd to say the least and very difficult to moderate - I honestly couldn’t tell if he was for real or just agitating half the tome. Actually come to think of it I think he’s the only actual real troll I’ve ever seen in the wild before.

Don’t know if you guys remember but there was also this guy who used to come on here with various mysoginistic usernames and always linked to his youtube channel - his videos always were always 50-75% disliked and very creepy - I think he was one of those incels or just straight up hated women and wanted to express that through... wow videos.

Both of them would be banned and then come back with separate usernames or use VPNs to circumvent banning. It was really weird times and I’ve got no idea why there came here and were so persistent. The world of forums can be a weird place sometimes...

I think I deleted every other spam post redridge posted on every other account he created to dodge his ban, but never put 2 and 2 together and realized this was probably one of his too. Fits the FirstnameLastname username thing he had going at least.
I'm actually pretty happy to raid log at the moment, wait for BWL, and work on a couple alts in the meantime.

That also didn't last long. The real world got buttfucked into oblivion, and my guild and raid team were there for me to fall back into. Went right back into spending all my free time in Azeroth. Classic couldn't have come around at a better time. Either way, 6 months later from my post and I'm still cool either way whether Blizz brings TBC or starts adding things along the Classic+ route after launch. I'm not ready for this adventure to end after Naxx.

Probably the fact they feel safe and think they can do what they want with no consequences.
People think they can use the internet to be dicks, kinda lame.

Damn right! I prefer TBC because of the new abilities and the fact I had the most fun during that time! I played so much in TBC but did so little in the game some how that would like to experience it again.

I'm looking forward to the inevitable tbc. Having never played it, it will be pretty much fresh for me. I only did the quests once having to go through it to wrath.

Looking forward to that at as well. Wonder how they will do it tho. My bet is that they will have to layer all realms for prob most of tbc if the population remains the same. Considering you have less land mass.

Imagine peak hours on release day with the entire server being funnelled through Hellfire Peninsula. 15k players all pouring over that one chunk of red dirt

First few weeks of TBC will be a madhouse. I wonder how many people will choose to do some heavy grinding in Azeroth high zones just to get past the hump so they can bypass Hellfire.

I don't know if grinding silithus/EPL/winterspring to get exp and bypass Hellfire makes that much of a difference. Aren't the TBC levelling zones fairly linear? Meaning that you go to each zone one after the other and there aren't many alternative zones to be in. Either way, I bet the play is to grind out exp in dungeons like we did on the way to 60. I basically lived in them from levels 15-60 on my main. Even with all of azeroth to spread out in, the dominant faction camped and murdered anybody who tried to quest.

From what I remember the content in the TBC levelling zones plus the dungeons was way more than you needed to hit 70. Like I think I was barely in Netherstorm with very few dungeons done by the time I hit 70. I cleared the hell out of Zangarmarsh because that zone is super comfy and fun. First thing I did when I got flying mount was zip around landing on the top of the mushrooms there.

If you can somehow get into ramparts, it won't be an issue with levelling in TBC, just do some good old dungeoncleave, you should be used to it by now
