These are series of short stories focusing on the everyday life in Classic WoW; the dull moments of grueling Warrior grinding, finding that first green item, the adventures and misadventures of the <Goblin Rocket Fuel Rats> guild, and more. They are sprinkled with forsaken lore and humor. The plan is to write all the way to level 60 and beyond. You can also follow the stories on our website. <Goblin Rocket Fuel Rats> is a pve/pvp/social guild that simply aims to help other players while having fun ourselves. Barring few torches and candles, it was very dark – as you’d expect. Unexpectedly however, I could see everything clearly. I must have been down here for some time. The dry fetor was filling up the air, making it hard to breathe…Hold on… breathe…? I… I can’t breathe.. I CAN’T BREATHE! No.. wait.. that’s right. I can’t breathe. I don’t breathe. I’m not that person anymore. Can I even call myself that, a person?Willow… That was her name. Long, golden hair. Pink cheeks with blue eyes. Skin soft like silk. It feels odd talking about myself in third person, yet somehow fitting. The willow trees bloom no longer. The spring an eternity away. On this day, Gallow is born.After narrowly avoiding being burned “alive”, I head out to the nearest settlement. Deathknell, as it’s called, was overrun by the Scourge. The village sought my aid, so I ran outside looking for “fresh meat”. I did not know why.It seemed that others were making quick work of the nearby Scourge, and my help was not all that necessary. Still, I yearned for something to do. It seemed that someone or something was forcing me to protect this settlement that I didn’t know until few moments ago. Was it thankfulness – for not being burned? I did not know. Ravenous, I looked around. Few rabid wolves and duskbats were lurking in the shadows beneath the trees. They would suffice.After killing a few of them and collecting their parts, I was able to trade the pelts and skins for some copper, I ditched my shield and bought myself a new weapon. It felt heavy at first, but soon enough became second nature. This time I went after the Scarlet Crusade. I didn’t need any additional excuse to go after them, but apparently they were already spying on us, passing information back to somewhere called Scarlet Monastery to the far east. With the help of a Rogue, I quickly dispatched them and their leader, and recovered a piece of intelligence.These Crusaders were not only spying on us, but they also had Vital Information on another town called Brill to the north-east. I had to warn them about this, so I left the relatively secure gates of Deathknell and made my way to Brill…. images/tatticons/book.pnhad finally arrived at Brill. The town clearly had seen better days; the houses were fairly old and made from wood that was all but rotten. The graves just outside stood in eerie silence as a constant reminder of the Plague, more than half unmarked. Yet the townsfolk were still adamant. Oft running patrol through the unbarricaded gloomy meadows, trying to defend Brill from its many foes; both the living and the dead.The Magistrate of Brill, Sevren, was particularly worried about a recent Gnoll invasion from the north. These good-for-nothing creatures were coming at night and stealing the corpses from the graves. Their leader Maggot Eye was using these corpses to bolster the defenses of the Scourgewas low, even for the Gnoll standards. I had to make sure that the poor people of Brill were no longer tormented by this beast. Before heading out, I sorted out my inventory, and even got trained in the arts of skinning. The extra hides would come in handy when bargaining for some pieces of weapon or armor. I also stopped by the Inn to catch some gossip. Taverns are a great place if you want to hear recent developments in their surrounding areas; even the Forsaken can get drunk and spill their guts. Now that I think about it… where do the drinks go? Anyway… This Inn – unironically called Gallow’s End – housed some regulars who were ready to talk. They even had a nurse called Neela, but no matter how hard I tried she would not train me how to bandage myself at a lower cost.That bitchI was making my way to the north, I heard a scream somewhere from the far west. Someone was surely in trouble, so I readied my sword and started running towards the sound. As I drew closer, I could make out the sounds of flame melting flesh, and the low grumbles of dying zombies. I saw a Forsaken, throwing fireballs and ice bolts and what have you at zombies from far away, but he was...

You should be playing on Grobbulus, Gallow. There's literally an entire website dedicated to this type of thing called Grobb.org

Unfortunately I'll have to murder you on sight since you decided to ally yourself with the savages.

Grobb.org looks great! My original TBC character was on a PvP-RP server as well, and it was great fun! Unfortunately we are based on an Oceanic server. :cry: It's a real shame because I would have loved to be feasting on your bones! But at the very least I hope you continue reading our adventures, as grim as they might be for a puny ally such as you! :lol:

I'm not a dwarf, and fighting a level 39 as a 60 seemed rude. :)
