I'm going with Alliance, but I'm neutral to both. I've always wondered why people pick Horde more often than Alliance? I'm not a fan of the whole "For the Horde!"-circlejerk either..

During Vanilla Alliance had population edge. TBC brough Belves to balance that out. This forum doesn't represent whole community and in the end, I think Alliance will have the edge again. So the question should be: who do people pick Alliance more often than Horde?

Hm, maybe. I was basing my opinion on how I've felt ever since I played, there always seemed to be an inherent bias towards Horde both in-game, on forums, reddit, among my friends and what not. Just anecdotal of course.

Horde was my original home back when I started in Wotlk. All my friends started playing alliance in mop so I had to switch over to play with them. Going to be playing Horde in classic though. Excited to get back to my roots and experience the classic community that was still around at the start of Wotlk.

Loktar Ogar!

Which would you take? ...and there's no turning back!

I love Ironforge and dwarfs more than anything on the horde side, but there is way too much stuff I like on the horde side!
I would take the Red Pill!

Nothing wrong with either side!
I played both in vanilla (Mostly blue) and enjoyed both sides!

Just wondering the feelings of other people on both sides!

This is very difficult for me. My main in Vanilla took the blue pill - that's where most of the nostalgia comes from.
Eventually I had 2 Horde 60's during Vanilla as well and I had a lot of great moments there as well.

Ironforge brings back so many good memories, but so does Orgrimmar. Damn it.
I'll probably take the red pill because almost everyone I know will take the red pill when Classic hits.

Even if my portrait says I'm a gnome. Deep inside, I'm undead and priest.
Let me tell you, my experience with private servers hasn't been the best, the Horde let me know at low level about my sin for becoming Alliance.
So I decided to join the dark side and be the one who controls the Hillsbrad Foothills (the "no go zone" for early 30's).

That's a tough choice for me! I was more inclined to join the Alliance and make a Horde alt (since I like to see both sides of the story), but the vast majority of my friends are going Horde, so I'm switching to a Forsaken main at launch.

Dang, I wanted to be the underdog...

I never got this. The absolute biggest and strongest playable races, bundled with the guys who refused to stay dead say they like the horde because they're the underdogs, yet when they crush in numbers, popularity and representation they seem to forget about being the "ragtag" group of outcasts and go full Garrosh with the superiority complex.

I've been getting some really mixed signals on this matter over the years.

Well if you say you’re picking alliance a lot of the time people just laugh and try to bully you into picking the horde instead cause they’re “superior”, so it’s really no wonder horde fairs better on polls.

Horde is for the elite and Alliance is for the kiddos they say, but I’d rather have proper housing ;)
