Almost nobody has TGC or Blizzcon exchange codes from vanilla in order to exchange them for a Riding Turtle mount or a Zergling Leash, Diablo Stone, Panda Collar or Blue Murloc Egg pets. These npc's will not be of any use to 99,99% of people.

Do we know if Blizzard will allow trading these codes in Classic? Or if Blizzard would sell them on Battle.net?

I hope the NPC's stay there as always have been, and I hope Blizzard won't sell these items on Battle.net. Although I'm not against gifting some of them in some kind of event during the life of Classic; what do you think?

I wouldn't sell these if I were Blizzard, but hey, who knows?

This would be cool tho, but nothing fancy.

I doubt anything that worked in retail is going to work in classic unless it's specifically noted. That's my guess.

I doubt they’ll sell the things again but who knows, it’s sounds like they need the money :3

To clarify, I don't think OP is questioning if Blizz will sell these again. I think OP is asking if original TCG codes would function and be redeemable within Classic. I think this is a super interesting point but obviously that Blizz would not honor the codes in Classic. TCG codes were designed for retail and retail still exists, these codes would work within retail but not Classic. Classic is a separate game. As far as the cash shop goes, we dont know. I could see them using the cash shop eventually but not at launch. As with everything else they will be diplomatic and attempt to warm people up to the idea. I could see them eventually using the cash shop and the token for various reasons.

On one hand it would be cool for people with it but on the other hand, like you say, retail still exist.

I’m kinda on the fence for this one leaving towards not allowing it even if it would be cool.

What will happen with a cash shop is to be seen, but I’m not sure they can implement one without messing with the overarching ‘clean’ version.

I was delighted to find out that my collectors edition pets were still redeemable during the recent stress test beta. Great fun to have my panda cub back!

Gotta say I will be pretty salty if they re-release the collector's edition pets and things. I would be fine with them doing a new collectors edition with new pets, but let the old veterans have their special thing.

no TCG loot i'm afraid
Simply put – there will not be a way to redeem TCG codes in WoW Classic.

now whether that stuff or CE items get added to a store at a later date? i think most would agree, no way jose

If they allow previously used TCG codes, I've been handed down many starter and expansion kits with the old codes in em.

It would not surprise me if they used those old pets and items to get classic players to buy a blizzcon virtual ticket. I could see them releasing one pet or mount per blizzcon aslong as it was in vanilla.

Dont know how I feel about it, just that it would not surprise me

I was able to claim my CE pets on the most recent Stress Test - so that original functionality is working properly. I guess I'm a bit selfish for wanting Blizzard to not add new means of acquiring them - they were insanely rare in Vanilla (I only encountered a couple other people with them on my server) and would certainly be more common than they were back then if added in any way. But I definitely feel a bit selfish to want my Panda Cub to be nearly unique.
