Yes. Warlock class quest mount is totally optional. It's certainly cheaper though.

Whats wrong with the Felsteed free mount at 40 and cheap dreadsteed at 60?
Gnome on a tiger, I mean cat, looks cool but the paladin and warlock class mounts look sick and unique!

Yes they can. My plan is to get a normal epic mount before phase 2. You cant get your warlock mount before zg is out.

I always used a normal mount because Felsteed consume mana to mount. :angrypepe:

I rolled a lock many many years ago before ZG and got a free mount. It was my second toon and because my warrior was just hard to solo level. Who says you have to wait now?

Phase 2 you can get the quest 60 mount when Dire Maul hits.
Dont think ZG is phase 2? Thought it was later which means thats too long to wait...

But no its when Dire Maul hits because you need to go in there to complete the final part of the quest
(No confirmation just believe its available at this point)

Yeah. Not sure how long we'll be on Phase 1, so I'm not sure how many warlocks you'll see with the normal epic mount.

At the same time, if it's an orc warlock, I can totally sympathize with just buying the wolf. Orcs look very, very silly on horses.

Normal warlock mount or epic warlock mount?

This is important because I'm going to shit bricks if I hit 40 during phase 1 and then find out "sorry lol your normal level 40 warlock mount isn't available for another 2 months". Like I probably won't even play a warlock if that's the case. I might even switch sides to alliance for the paladin mount if it's going to be like that, unless the normal level 40 paladin mount also won't be available until phase 2.

You get your normal warlock mount at 40, but you cant get the epic mount before phase 2 because you need to do the last part of the quest chain in Dire Maul. The Dire Maul dungeons release with phase 2 :)

Since I wont be playing hardcore I have a feeling I wont even get to 60 when phase 2 comes out or just freshly hit.
So I wont be spending 900 gold on a mount and just wait for the quest!
