Anyone else not 100% sure what they would like to roll come classic. I feel even though there are less class/race combos in classic i am having a harder time deciding what i would like to main and alt in classic.

Not even close. Every time I think I decide I either read someone else's experience with a class or see some sort of video and change my mind. My current choice is Warlock (I think?) but I'm sure that'll change again. Even though there's less to choose from the time we'll be spending with the character is so much greater than in retail, so it's a choice that kind of really matters, at least in my mind.

For those who aren't sure which class to pick, I suggest to roll a Hunter.

Why hunter specifically?

BM, I forgot to mention.

Oh, 'why', not which hehe.
Well, it's a really fun class to start with the game, I think (just my opinion), that for new players, the Hunter class is really good to get into the game.

I have been 100% warrior since they announced Classic at 2017 Blizzcon. I was a resto drud back in the day and I always wanted to be on the front line. I rolled a warrior and eventually started tanking our "Alt Raids" once a week, but that group only got about halfway through BWL when TBC was launched. Needless to say, I have some unfinished business!

I played a Mage/Hunter in "classic" but I think I'll be rolling an undead priest this go around. I think I got all my the dps out of my system back in 2004/2005. I don't have a lot of time to devote to the game this time around so I'd like to try something new.

Druid was another class I considered but Rebirth is a bit of a concern for me (other than being usable in combat). I guess my main concern is rezzing in dungeons. Anyone play a druid in classic who can talk about their experiences with the class, especially at end game healing?

Thanks in advance.

If you roll feral druid what is your plan for end game? I'm not really up to speed on druids but I thought there weren't many chances for them in raids. I ask because I'm really considering shaman but I don't want to be pigeon-holed into a healer.

Ferals make great off tanks

Yeah, I mostly played a resto druid. You'll have no trouble finding a spot in dungeons or raids, and you can do fairly well in BG's (especially WSG), but outside of that, you're kind of a wet noodle. It's important to collect a Feral set for when you need to go do stuff out in the world. It will drastically help without having to constantly respec.

I was having a hell of a time deciding between Priest or Paladin. I read all the guides and watched all the videos, switching between the two every other day.

Now I'm choosing Warlock.

A lot of this also has to do with stigma. I tanked plenty of raids as feral, but the general 'consensus' was that we sucked and so not many got the chance to show what we can do.
That stigma remains though, and so the hybrids that want to avoid healing will simply need to find guilds that allow it (such as the one I happen to be making..:p)
Generally I think moreso shamans especially were forced into resto, so you will need to watch out for guilds that aren't super focused on ideal raid setups and min-maxing.

For me it's a tough choice between warlock, mage, and priest. They all just have a lot going for them... Right now I'm leaning towards warlock. Feel free to try to change my mind
