Favorite Vanilla Weapon

My favorite weapon from Vanilla is probably the last good one I had the chance to wield.

As a Hunter, I needed some "2H Weapon" to go along my Bow.
And the weapon that I left my character with several years ago, was https://classic.wowhead.com/item=9372/sulthraze-the-lasher

Since I spent a lot of time in Tanaris to level up (and basicly run ZF over and over again) I felt so good dropping this item and kept it until now, my character transfered on my inactive account still have it.

(EDIT : Yup, still have it.)

Best remembered vanilla weapon for me is https://classic.wowhead.com/item=2243/hand-of-edward-the-odd . Elemental shaman main.

Definitely https://classic.wowhead.com/item=23056/hammer-of-the-twisting-nether because it was the pinnacle of healing weapons for me and the particle effect was pretty neat. https://classic.wowhead.com/item=22691/corrupted-ashbringer is also up there, and something I eventually hope to get this go around.

Quel serrar hands down, managed to get it on retail so hopefully I can get it on classic aswell!

+1 for Quel'Serrar, one of the most iconic model files in the game IMO. When you saw a tank with this sword, you knew he fucked.

https://classic.wowhead.com/item=23056/hammer-of-the-twisting-nether really is awesome, however that and https://classic.wowhead.com/item=22819/shield-of-condemnation look ridiculous on a Shaman. But still better than wearing cloth gear all the way to Naxx. :lol:

For me, there is only One ultimate weapon to rule all weapons. And that is this One. Oh how many nights I’ve been drooling over this blade...

Just as an FYI, this was fixed as a bugchange in 1.8.0, so in Classic this won't be an issue, for any priests that were concerned.

We had been in MC for several months killing bosses, but no 2H weapons had dropped. We still hadn't defeated Rag, so the OEB was my dream. I had used the https://classic.wowhead.com/item=19106/ice-barbed-spear for a long time and had been super happy to get my https://classic.wowhead.com/item=19323/the-unstoppable-force , but I wanted a 2hander from a RAID. I still remember the cheering over Vent when one finally dropped.

Mostly because of the fact that when I was levelling my priest I had max wand spec, and when I first got it it tore through enemies. Didn't become replaced by a green for a long time. :lol:
