Logged into Smolderweb to dodge the Whitemane queue and all of the mobs were dead so I ran to the Undercity to just chill there for a bit. Hopefully I'll make some leveling progress on Whitemane today.
About an hour before the great disconnect
I logged on an hour prior so I got a 2500+ que. When I joined world there was many people. I got to lvl 9 before I had to go to bed :/
I got to Level 7 and to Darnassus. Not too shabby.
EDIT: A letter.
I have managed to get to level 9 before servers vent off, then I also vent to sleep, today already for 7h+ I'm in the queue. And still waiting to get into a game :) Cheers!
p.s I hate leveling hunter till I get the pet hehe
Didnt even get in...sucks for people who only have 2 hours to play at night when the queue is over 2 hours...I know its launch day but after 15 years you figured they could get it right
My suspicion is that Blizzard is still filled with the "you think you do, but you don't" mentality and fully expected the launch to be smaller, and still fully expect classic servers to implode after a couple of weeks. If they had taken Classic seriously this wouldn't have happened.
Not much. It was late here, I was working on something, and I was sleepy. I logged in, spent most of my time waiting in different realm queues and checking my place in queues once in a while, and created some characters in new (and cooler sounding) PvP realms. At some point, some of the crowded PvP realms crashed or something and I laughed, I guess Blizzard still underestimates the demand like they did in Vanilla. Then I returned to my actual realm (Zandalar Tribe RP-PvP), thought myself how it was a good choice since it had much shorter queues, logged on to my character, and just stood there with other people in Shadowglen for like 10 minutes before I left. Many people were just standing just like me, maybe they did not have any intention to actually play at that moment, they just wanted to be a part of this historic day?
I leveled the same character to level 6 twice on two different servers
Was pretty funny to see that the boats and zeppelins were broken on half the servers last night.
Got to level 18 before logging out.

Nice man, you're definitely ahead of the pack. How many hows did that take? You running solo or were you part of a group?

I was playing solo as a hunter. About 9 hours. But I fucked up a bunch of times and was running all over the place back and forth forgetting quest stuff.
Level 11 on the druid. 50 skinning, 30 herb. Got bear form, am doing a couple more quests in Auberdine then I'm heading west to hang out with the humans.
Gensei what server are you on.
Logged in at 3:30am, logged off around 5:30am at level 8 with a few levels in my professions. Need to grind harpies and gnolls until I get some damn bags.

Bloodsail, the RP server. Figured it'd be more casual because in a couple weeks I'm gonna be super busy for a long time.
The only problem is now I've got an itch to play Horde and the Horde pop on Bloodsail is pretty small.
I finished short of level 10, but was able to take care of the guild charter, help one of our new players learn the ropes, and get 75/75 fishing and cooking.
