Hey guys,

As classic comes back so does having a billion different keybinds, especially on priest. I love to have my screen clean so I usually hide all additional action bars.

Now, I’ve used bindpad for my keybindings for a long long time, however it’s update status is unknown on willitclassic.

What addons/methods do you recommend for binding spells easily? What are you going to use?

For priests, something like vuhdo will be necessary for raid healing, you can make it fairly minimal, and the mouseover macro-type capability is baked in, so you don't have to clutter action bars. Other than that, I'm using dominos currently, because I can scale the bars to take up a very minimal amount of screen real estate. On the stress test, I had 4 action bars in roughly the space of the one default bar.

Hei,

I will be trying Spartan UI in Classic just for a change, see how easy it is as an all-in-one addon. My reasoning being that you can't update your classic addons with the Twitch app like you can with retail (yet). One of my main concerns was precisely the one you mention.
I bind everything, each character probably has 15 to 20 mouse/keyboard binds, so if Spartan sucks to set bindings I'll just use what I've been using since, I dunno, Wrath? Which is Dominos. It's super easy to create and delete keybinds on the go without faffing around menus. Honestly I really love Dominos.

They are both supported in Classic.

BindPad is great, I assume it'll work with Classic as well. Or just use the standard Bartender/Dominos. I'd go with Dominos if I had to pick either one of those two.

Bindpad is great, but with 3 days to go it still shows as unknown for classic support. So I wouldn't rely on it being updated so close to release.

Yea thought so, guess I'll stick with the good ol' Blizzard binding.

I use ButtonForge in retail, it allows you to make bars anywhere you want. The best thing is, it doesn't use the standard action bars so you can have buttons everywhere. As far as keybinds, I use a Razer Nostromo controller so I have my bars/keybinds set to that. You can see my entire crazy setup HERE.

Bartender can do all of that, its very easy to use and it's updated for classic.
It was one of the first mods I installed and I highly recommend it.

Doesn't Bartender use the Blizzard bars? I have 1-6 in use already. I guess there are some more bars to use, like the stance bar or stealth bar. I'll have to take a look at it.

a nice way to hide rarley used spells gives you the addon "ringmenu". it is basically a actionbar that appears only when you press the key you binded it on. It appears exaclty where your mouse cursor is. a perfect action bar for not so often used / mainly out of combat abilities like the hearthstone, mage portals...
