Hey folks !
New guy here :)

Can't wait to get back in the game...
I started playing a druid around patch 1.3 and got to kill Nefarian !
Then managed to hit rank 11 just before patch 2.0 with a warrior.
This time around I plan to play a UD Priest

Couldn't play TBC but I enjoyed WotLK afterwards.

This forums rocks, see you around

Hi fam. Been a long time since I've been excited enough about something to get involved on forums. Can't wait. Just got my download for the stress test, looking forward to that lvl 5 Hogger raid.

Hello, I've been playing since '05. Spent the better part of my teenage years raiding Vanilla, TBC and into Wrath. Stopped playing during Cata and came back at the end of WoD. Cannot wait for Classic.

Hey all!

I played vanilla from May05 up to TBC launch, after that I spent a few years playing vanilla on multiple private servers and evetually tried out WoD and BFA for a couple weeks each, should not have spent that money...

Played mostly Tauren Warrior across those years, it's always been my passion. Tanking was my first love, Arms PvP was a lot of fun on off-days and Fury DPS was a late discovery and is now up there with Tanking.

For Classic I will, however, probably not follow that path again. The amount of time needed is just too much, between gearing up, getting consumables and (since I'd want to MT) the need to be almost 100% available for all raids, there's just no way I can make that commitment... So right now the plan is to either roll a priest (I do enjoy support roles) or a DPS caster. Not yet decided on this. Will likely end up making a warrior alt sometime anyway.

Also not decided on faction to be honest. Played Horde all my life, I've done the levelling paths multiple times, almost know them all by heart. Still have a clear picture of all the raiding requirements for Horde, group compositions, all that jazz. So, in a way, I feel I should play Alliance. Make a Dwarf Priest for that invaluable Fear Ward maybe. Experience the world from that perspective, which is something I don't think I ever truly did.

But my heart aches at the thought of fighting the Horde...

Pls halp

Hey man, feeling same kind of pain :)
Only difference for me that I mained forsaken rogue. So instead of tanking routines it was crunching numbers on Elitist Jerks and running dps optimizaton simulation in Excels that took hours to complete on these old PCs of 200X :P
And even though I played with some breaks till Cata I never really rolled alliance char.

But tbh after a lot of thinking I am quite bent on trying out dwarven priest for Classic now. Forsaken priest was my primary alt so I know I will love the overall experience of priest leveling, PvE and PvP. While trying out alliance for the first time should bring me a lot of fresh perspective and a truly comprehensive experience of WoW world and lore from both angles.

I only do hope that it will not be half of veteran player base rolling dwarven priests with other half rolling warriors :P

Kav Shadire having also played both factions at various stages I have to say the Alliance zones up to level 30 are a lot more fun in terms of quests and general immersion. Kind of considering rolling a Night Elf now instead of Orc - I've been playing NE hunter on the beta too and enjoying myself way more than I thought I would.

You make a nice point. In a way I also feel I should give a shot to a less "obvious" class, roll a Druid for support or a Hunter for DPS which are classes that never pop into my head when I think of playing. I just feel so drawn to the priest class :P

Yea from the little I've leveled through Alliance I remember there were some very interesting bits of playtime. I guess it'll also depend on whether a couple of my friends decide to play or not.

Hi team!

Think its really cool to see people from so many parts of the world! I am an Australian who is splitting time between London and Johannesburg at the moment and was stoked to see a bunch from those reasons too.

Played a bunch of classic on a druid, but not much end game stuff despite hitting 60 on the druid and a hunter. Still tossing up what I roll this time, leaning Priest for a different healing experience and to get into a bit more endgame stuff this time - but hard to pull away from the Druid/Hunter roots.

Looking forward to sharing the experience with you all!

My man! Happy to theorycraft druid with anyone anytime. Lately I've been considering a 1/32/18 leveling/PvP/fresh 60 build for good dps/tanking and decent enough healing.

Hi! I've been playing WoW since Jan 2005, I think? Whatever year it launched in November, I joined the January after that. I'm too old to try and keep all those dates straight in my head. I'm horrible at history.

I have lived in southern Oklahoma and/or north Texas my entire life, and am looking forward to retiring from teaching in four short years. (I hope they are short... egads I'm tired of being the world's scapegoat!)

All you theorycrafter people make my head hurt... but I'm REALLY glad you do what you do! Thanks!!

I currently have an active BFA account that I'm not terribly excited about playing... I'm also in the Classic beta, so I'm good! If you want me to test anything specifically, let me know!

I caught a reference to this site on Reddit and am glad it caught my eye! I've played WoW since launch and solidly through Vanilla. My guild cleared MC, BWL and AQ up to Twin Emps. Plenty of great memories! Then reality kicked in. I graduated from college, got full time job, and later a wife and family.

I've taken a number of breaks during the intervening years. I didn't raid during BC, opting instead to focus on alts. I raided ICC during Wrath and then went on hiatus. I'd come back each expansion for a month to level and see the new stuff and then step away again. I've been back fairly consistently since Legion, doing most content via LFR as my guild was defunct.

I'm burned out on BFA, really only logging in when my son wants to me to help him level on his starter account. He likes having 'Ol Dad the druid to fly him around places.

I got an invite to the classic beta and I'm excited to be excited about WoW again.

Hello all, coming back to WoW for Classic. I did raid a bit back in Vanilla but this time around I will probably just be messing around in dungeons and battlegrounds with friends.
