Theaden, Main NE Hunter Alliance, have been playing since Vanilla release. When I get bored of the game I make a Hunter, with the allied races, lets say I have alot of Hunters. I did get a invite for WoW Classic BETA. I be running around with my NE Hunter name Theaden on PVE and Orthane PVP on Classic BETA.

JustSoup here! I played a bit in Vanilla as a kid, but I really got into Vanilla from Nostalrius/Elysium/Lightshope. My characters were:
Tahm, lvl 60 Dwarf Paladin
Swenjen, lvl 60 Troll Mage
Tambie, lvl 54 Tauren Warrior

I'm leaning most towards Tauren Druid on release, but Warrior keeps becoming more and more tempting... That said, I also don't want to be the billionth person on the server to play a Warrior, plus the last character I levelled was Tambie, my warrior :/ Anyways, I hope to meet a lot of players who are new to Classic, new to WoW, or even new to MMOs entirely. My goal is to help lead a team of mostly total newbs through MC, and hopefuly even further into raiding!

but hard to pull away from the Druid roots

My man! Happy to theorycraft druid with anyone anytime. Lately I've been considering a 1/32/18 leveling/PvP/fresh 60 build for good dps/tanking and decent enough healing.

Thanks mate! Definitely keen to see any spec you're looking at - please share =]

Hi all,

I originally started WoW in May 2005 EU. I saw my cousin playing and I got hooked. I played TBC, WoTLK and Cata religiously. Spent a small amount of time in MoP and WoD but basically havent played Legion or BFA. Very excited for Classic.

I wrote a lvl 5 BiS guide and posted it on Reddit last stress test and now I've got another lvl 10 guide for the upcoming stress test (started as a meme but people have really enjoyed the challenge!). Looking forward to being apart and sharing with this community :D

Hello everyone!

I started in MoP and played Wod and BfA, but really got into Nostalrius and later Lights Hope when I got fed up with WoD and BfA.
Excited to read a lot of fun discussions on here! Really miss the old forum layouts when i was younger and I'm glad to see it back with a more polished feel!

Hello people,

First of all - I love this website. I just stumbled upon it and it has so much good stuff in it which helps me very well, because I am still new to this game.
I have played for around 3-4 months total. Started at the end of Legion and a month or two in BFA.

So something about me as a person -
I am from Latvia, I work from home and play a bunch of different games. Counter Strike, League of Legends, God of War and others. You name it.
I play games since I was a kid, because my parents had a game console business where you pay x amount of money to play x amount of time. The consoles were PlayStation 1 and there were so many people coming. We had so many games and after kindergarden I could play all of it for free, so yeah, imagine as a kid having PS1 with all the games you can imagine.

Why WoW Classic -
I am looking for a great MMORPG for years to spend my time in and so far WoW is the best one, but I don't like retail very much. I started playing it too late. I was not a fan of that people didn't take me in raids because of achievements I didn't have. It is very cool to show off to newbs your hard earned achievements, mounts and other things that the new player can't get anymore.

I will play and invest my time in Classic because of many reasons -
1. Everyone knows that the game is good and will be very popular.
2. Me and bunch of my friends will be playing it together starting on launch.
3. If I get a cool mount or achievement, I know that I will impress a bambi in the future.
4. There is no pay to win which I hate in all other MMO's. (only exception I know is OSRS)
5. If this game becomes my main one, I will save money. Why? Because I will not be interested in other games and won't buy a new one every other month for 30-60€ each. WoW subscription in a year is like raw 120€ and it's the same like buying 2-3 new games which I will forget about in a week or two.

So that is that and if you are still here, thank you!

Hello all,

When Classic came out, I was in my early teens and never got to experience classic in its full glory at the time. I played a lot as a kid and enjoyed it, but I never reached max level. I PvP'd and did dungeons almost exclusively because questing was "dumb". I'm certain the highest level I got was 45~ but I got to say, Zul'Farrak is the best dungeon ever created (fight me).

When Burning Crusade released, I managed to get max level as a horde paladin and raided with a casual guild called Aurora (?) on Khaz Modan. I was the last person in the Zul'Aman team to achieve the Amani War Bear and it is easily one of the precious memories I have of playing the game.

Wrath of the Lich King is really when I started to raid hardcore. I played in the causal guild that I did in Burning Crusade up until Ulduar and changed guilds to Scoundrels (?) and was an off tank. It had its ups and downs but was a blast to be able to experience Ulduar at content (excluding the 300+ wipes to Yogg Saron). After a while, me and some friend’s faction transferred to alliance to join a guild called Cataclysm in which was my last and final progression. From where we achieved Realm First Grand Crusader and made a strong effort in Ice Crown Citadel. It was one of the most enjoyable times with one of the most fun groups of people I ever had.

I played Cataclysm (the expansion, not my guild) up until Ragnaros in The Firelands and found a distinct lack of cohesion and fun in playing it at this point and slowly faded out and eventually quit. I started playing in Battle for Azeroth again with some new friends and old friends from Cataclysm (the guild) and found it enjoyable but my experience of playing it was that of a Job and not an adventure. I rarely met people, talked, or was able to fully enjoy a conversation with someone else as the game promoted go-fast-eat-ass playstyle without any time to chat. Everything was relatively non-community and promoted no interest in making friends or talking with others.

I am hoping that in writing this I am able to bring out some nostalgia from others who might have had similar experiences, played on the same world, or just want to read others interest in the game and their hopes for what it has for the future. For me, I really hope to build friendships and goals with others in the world. Creating rivalries and friendships in the game was what it was all about, and I hope the best for Classic in these regards. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you too find what you are looking for in this game.

Well met! Greetings, Barrens Chat! I'm Knoxtane.

I've been playing World of Warcraft since 2012. Yes! I know, I joined VERY VERY late. However, I'm super excited to play Classic and experience Wow during its "Golden Age". I plan on maining a Night Elf Rouge. So, I gotta learn how to play rogues, I think they are a really interesting class. My experience in WOW is very casual but I love open-world PVP. Ganking,Camping or having a 3 on 3 or higher fight in the middle of the world while questing is just fun!

Well that's a small little bit about me, can't wait to dive into classic!

I also have to say, this heavily modified version of PHPBB3 and the theme is absolutely AMAZING. I've ran several phpbb3 websites of my own in the past and this is by far one of the best themes I've seen.

Hello everyone! Btw, the layout of this website is great!

I started playing in Cataclysm, and played consistently up until BFA (yeah, I played through WoD, mostly leveling alts though...)

Like many of you I'm also very excited for Classic. The World of Warcraft as I've known it has never changed, so I'm really looking forward to jumping back into the game as it was. Since the announcement I've just been watching videos, streams and reading up on Vanilla. It really seems like a much more fun, rewarding, and most certainly challenging game!

I was lucky enough to get into the stress test, and managed to play for a bit. Despite the level five cap it was such a blast to quest in groups and explore what I could. Needless to say I'm really looking forward to August 27th!

Might as well introduce myself!

Hi folks,

I've been playing WoW since July 05 on the EU realms, mainly played a Troll Shaman on the Dragonblight realm.
I managed to get 4 bosses down in Naxx 40 and I'd love to have a revenge on that raid eventually in Classic, can't leave anything unfinished.

Anyhow I've been playing WoW through every expansion since then, with a few breaks every now and then, currently on a break up until Classic releases just because I got bored of BFA.

Sadly I haven't been able to enjoy the Beta or any stress test but I've started to level up a few toons on some private servers just to get the feel of the quests and what so.

Anyhow, for the first time in many years I'm hoping for the summer to be quick and august may come, time to have the mindset of a teenager yet again with Classic!

Taz'dingo!
