15 years ago I thought we'd be playing true to life graphics VR with sensory implants, but no. Here we are, still waiting for someone to make a better MMO than Blizz did back in 2004.

I will be playing Classic this time around with a new group of friends and it's safe to say that I'm very excited.
I just have one small (actually huge) problem... They all unanimously want to roll Alliance.
I've always been FOR THE HORDE!
So my question is:
Do I roll horde and gank them on repeat or find a new group of friends?

I don't understand how these two work. I never was friends with anyone who played Alliance. We didn't fight or anything, it was just an "oh, okay" and we never talked about WoW again. Same thing with chicks, I once found a chick who was playing on a good server, was doing Mythic boosts and everything but when she told me she only played Alliance on that PvE server I was cockblocked and we stopped talking.
It's not faction pride or anything, it's more about the fact that if it's a big part of our lives but we can never play together unless one of us makes a huge compromise then it's not worth starting and you're better off going with someone who isn't involved with it at all.
Play Horde, you'll make new friends. I mean, it's not like you *should* be talking about WoW stuff when you're out irl anyway, and online friends are just as good as real friends when you're gaming, you know?

Oh man this brings back some memories.
I used to spend hours chatting with people on a forum very similar to this back in the early 2000's, I even made custom signatures using Photoshop for people! I wonder if that sort of thing is still in demand?
Anyway, great to be here and I'm looking forward to enjoying Classic when it comes out! Here's to a bright and glorious future!
