Why is there both a "/join lfg" and a "/join lookingforgroup"?

"LookingForGroup" is a server-channel, like General or Trade. It cannot be owned by a player.
"lfg" is a custom channel owned by a player. Why would you even bother joining that and asking this question?
I'm pretty sure he already knew that.
He posts threads like this just so he can start arguments to increase his post count.
I'm just glad we had a break from him yesterday.
