I guess we can also post here if we're looking for guilds aye? ;D
Here I go:

Looking for a Guild!

  • Faction: Horde

  • LF: Casual guild on Oceania server.

  • Me: 30 (soon 31) year old dude, located in Japan. Played WoW from late-Vanilla to Wotlk hardcore, and casually during Cata to MoP mid expansion. I'm looking for a friendly and casual, older player oriented Guild. Will probably play 1 to 2 hrs during weekdays in the evenings, and 4-6 hrs during weekends (not every weekend though). So extremely casual. I hope to do some dungeons, maybe dabble in raids and random BG's. I'm not opposed to rolling on a PvP server, as long as it's not one of those "streamer" servers where the big streamers are located in.

  • Server preference: Doesn't matter that much, see above.

  • Character: Most likely Druid tank. If not Undead Warlock, or Orc Hunter.... perhaps a warrior tank... Although I love Shamans and their playstyle and totems.. but don't think I'll go healer... arrrgh lol!
  • Do my eyes deceive me? Another player from Japan? Mate in case you don't find that OC guild you're looking for I'm making a Japanese times chill raiding guild that would welcome mature casual players with open arms, on an EU horde side pvp server. In fact I'm rolling feral druid too, that's kinda scary..
Anyway mate we'd be happy to have you and I would LOVE someone who plays same times I can do dungeons with <3 and you're welcome to roll say ele shaman and have fun with those totems! (Or indeed any of the other classes you mentioned)

As much as I understand your choice of playing on EU (I was originally on EU as well, Sporeggar - Shatar - Argent Dawn), I want to give OC a chance simply due to the timezones. I played on many other online games with US/EU servers, and the time difference is just brutal. Not many people are online when I'm online. I'll already have a limited time to play, and I want to be able to play when most people are logged in.

Although you do make a good point with off peak-hour mob/herb farming ;D

If you want to swap to OC on the other hand, lemme know :P

I'm a 31 year old guy from Sweden that is an old-school World of Warcraft player. I have played all expansions except the last one, however I haven't played seriously ever since WOTLK or so.

I intend to get back to playing World of Warcraft regularly when classic hits. However these days I don't have the same time I used to back in the days, since I have work and 3 kids. I am looking for a mature, casual raiding guild that don't have strict attendance requirements for the times I can't attend due to kids/work.

I do however intend to play as much as possible, and would probably prefer a guild that have 1-2 raid nights a week.

Back in the day I have played most classes, but have always preferred tank/healing in group activities so there is a strong possibility of me rolling priest or druid as main class on release, but haven't made up my mind yet.

EDIT: forgot to mention, I strongly prefer playing as Horde but it isn't a strict requirement.

I know there are LOTS of people who will be looking for a casual raiding guild. Many of us are living our best adult lives and don't have the time to dedicate to hardcore raiding. I want to start a guild that would be something like this:

    - Raid 1x per week on Tuesdays/Wednesday evenings alternating (I'm a shift worker and can't dedicate the same day every week)
    - See if there is interest in doing a second raid TBD on a per week basis (if not enough interest no biggie)
    - Otherwise just do stuff in the world together.

Mainly I'm concerned people would be deterred by having alternating raid days rather than a fixed day, but I imagine shift workers would enjoy it. Would you join a guild with this structure even if you are a 9-5 worker? Why or why not?

I would absolutely be interested, as long it was Horde. My time to play is usually weeknights. Weekends are always busy. Personally it wouldn't matter to me that the exact day per week changes just as long as it is planned ahead.
Sadly finding something like this difficult, at least in my experience.
What region are you in? East coast USA here.

EST region. I was always Horde in Vanilla and as much as it pains me, I'm planning on going Alliance. Want to see the game in a new light.

    <Tarren Thrills>
... is a returning, PvP-oriented guild that will be on Classic, led by big world PvP (and all types of PvP in general) enthusiasts with several years of experience in the Alliance slaying business. As a group that derives its name from the renowned battles in Hillsbrad throughout Vanilla, we endeavor to bring this same fun (and tons, tons more) to the entirety of the open world - and eventually instanced, too.

    Who Are We?
Tarren Thrills strives to maintain a close-knit, friendly community that lacks no single ounce of bloodthirst towards our enemies; whether it be in the battleground or in the most remote corner of the titan-forsaken Hinterlands, members strive to come out on top and conquer all who oppose them. We aim to take part in as much PvP as possible - with a special focus on the world - and as BG’s are released, to take those by storm as well. We want to start fights and create battles all across Azeroth as often as possible; and above all, have fun with (soon-to-be) friends slaughtering Alliance in countless numbers.

    What Do We Want?
Above all, Tarren Thrills seeks to have… well, just that - thrills! Vanilla is the greatest version of this game to world PvP in, and thus do we seek to take full advantage of that. From small gank groups touring the continent to large scale, all-out wars over the terrain of each of the unique zones, we strive to have the most fun possible fighting, killing, and dying in the bloodiest and most glorious (or lowliest) way. We welcome anyone with a knack or interest in fighting and/or brutally murdering other players in all types of settings and situations.

PvP, cool. What about gear? Raids?
The early-dungeon gear grind is something we will obviously be taking advantage of; after all, you DO need at least some gear to pile up corpses of enemies. And assuming we can garner enough support and gain enough constant membership, raiding will be something we can easily achieve.

    Cool Perks

  • Full guild member support (e.g. anti-gank calls)

  • Ganking, skirmishes, battles-- safespotting

  • Incursions into the heart of enemy territories, including cities

  • Being apart of fun, like-minded people who maybe don’t have crazy amounts of time to play

  • Call to Arms events hosted by the guild; bounties on Alliance players

  • Tons of HKs, higher standing within the old honor system

  • Organized events and coordinated fights (w/ voice chat, too)

  • Tons of AV (hopefully premades)

  • Real organic PvP the way you remember it.
  • We welcome anyone planning on playing Horde - any class, any role - who wants to spend tons of time rediscovering the big battlefield-playground of Azeroth (as they mercilessly hunt down the Alliance, of course).

    The Realm Problem
Because we currently have no information about realms for Classic, plans are TBA. Rest assured that every measure will be taken to find a home the likes of retail-Emerald Dream.

Keep in mind that the guild and all associated info are still in the process of being created. More info will become available with time. I hope to see some bright new faces of the Horde soon!

If you’d like any more information - or if you’re interested - we have a discord! You can also, obviously, ask questions here too.

    Intro:
We are looking for experienced and non-experienced players to join our family styled guild, we are wanting to build our ranks prior to Classic so we can get a head start on helping out our guildies with leveling, dungeons, farming and more. Our goal is to down the raids as they release but it is not mandatory to show up to raid (aka you wont get kicked) we know RL happens. So if your looking for a tight knit group of people looking to down raids, farm gear, lvl professions we are the Guild for you!

We hope you enjoy your time here! We'll see you in Classic!

    Server:
Planning on a PvE server as we have lives outside WoW and don't want to spend valuable grinding/farming time getting ganked for hours

    Raid Times:
    Thursday: 9pm-11pm (EST)
    Friday: 9pm-11pm (EST)
(may be 1 night raid, depends on progression)

I'm also a bit sad about the lack of EU Ally guilds here. Guess more will pop up sooner or later though? Looking for a PvE, mature, casual guild with no strict requirements on raid participation but hopefully that still does some end-game content now and then.

End-game content every now and again but with no strict requirements on raid participation? I don't think that even exists in vanilla unfortunately.

But yes some more EU Ally PvE guilds would be cool.

    Lok'Tar Ogar!
Thrall's Chosen is accepting early members who are looking to start their classic wow experience in good company.
We are an Aus based guild but with various members from Sweden and US and China, we follow Aus raiding times however.
We will be doing all content as a semi-hardcore raiding guild, but will not be frothing over world firsts and are not the type to drill you over dps meters etc. There are a lot more ways than pure dps/hps to help a guild progress though raids in classic.
We are mostly veteran wow players that know the content pretty well, but have a few totally new players also and a lot of resources (and friendly guildies) available to help new players get to know the game.

    Raids 3 nights a week
    Accepting all classes
    Horde side
    Pvp realm

Come see our discord and say hello if you are curious

I would definitely think that casually raiding MC, ZG and Ony is possible? Maybe I phrased it wrong with no strict requirement on participation, I don't think I would have a problem having a consistent schedule as long as the hours and days aren't crazy. It might be tough to rack up enough people otherwise, yes.

Greetings! I'm looking for a casual/semi-hardcore Open world PvP guild! ALLIANCE I have never play classic and am planning to main a rogue, which I've also never played.

I've played wow since 2012, really late to the game but I'm SUPER excited for classic!

Still not a single Alliance EU guild.

Wouldn't it make sense to sticky this topic?
So that anyone with desire to add guild info would immediately spot it and we can gradually build up a nice comprehensive list of guilds prior to launch?
