If we do get a classic beta before launch I hope it's something like 1-30. It would be enough to try out some different routes and not spoil all the fun for people who haven't played before
Long time no see!
I've been practicing 10-20 recently and finally got a shareable time. Finished my Gnome Mage run @ 8h54m45s at level 20 (On a repack).
I'd love to get it down to 8 hours but I'll probably practice 20-30 for now and do another attempt later. I should note that this is with fire spec, feeling like it's more fluent with Darkshore routing, but it might need further testing.
Also good job everyone! Some impressive times out there.
Hey man I was wondering how you handle the routing especially for Darkshore and post Darkshore. Originally I was following Xrewz video guides for mages up to around level 15 but his darkshore route felt kinda interuppted since it didn't continue to 16 so I eventually ended up trying to look up other stuff. Found out that Judgement had a lot of good videos so atm i'm trying to follow his stuff a bit even though its from paladin perspective https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjk6L4aU7V3ikLIc0Yp4BAA/videos
I generally arrive at Darkshore at around 3 hours played I think my best was 2hours 54minutes and Judgement finishes Darkshore at 16.5 in roughly 5 hours flat.. I guess my goal is to try and get sub 5 hours 30 minutes but i'm really struggling with choosing a route for it.. I do REALLY like the idea of trying out fire specc till 20 ish and then respeccing so I think i'm going to try that.
Sorry i'm rambling but I guess TL;DR is do you use your own route for Darkshore or do you use Xrewz video and if so how do you continue where his mage videos left off
Thanks! :) Gonna try to get a sub 9 hour run for 1-20 gonna need to do some stuff though
Hey man! I use Xrewz' route for 1-12, after that I actually use @Alenya 's guide for Darkshore - Patreon.com/theraceto60 , it costs 5 dollars though. But to be honest, Darkshore routing is pretty simple - you do 3 major runs from Auberdine, first 2 up north, then 1 south. I really like fire because you can stay Darkshore 12-18 uninterrupted and dont have to go to IF for frostbolt at 14. I still have to optimize the route after 18 - Alenya stays at Darkshore untill 20 but I dont like it that much, might be faster to go Redridge straight at 18 for mage.
10 2h 3min

A user of this forum told me in my stream that it is okay to also drop the link of my stream and my route here.
If this is against the rules of this forum please delete the 2 links, I will notice this and won't post links which are not directed to the run related anymore

Massivechonk nice time!
Also, Cryphis (can’t @ you yet, sorry lol), sharing your twitch is fine by me and nice time!
I've been playing ud warlock for 1-10, it's a lot more challenging than mage with the pet (two 5s-mana rules) and all the different duration dots. I'm sure my playstyle could be improved. I'm happy with the 1h27min time even though near the end I was kinda unlucky with quest drops, so I skipped the pumpkin quest and I still had about 600 exp overkill. If anyone is interested in the run, I've uploaded it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tX0UEAmulcc

Thanks for uploading the run. That's a very impressive time and I'm interested to see your route and strategy.
est I’ve been telling people for a while now that Warlock was capable of quite good times for 1-10, glad someone proved me right. Great time!
E: do you think 1:20 is possible with some luck to be on par with Gnome Mages?
Yeah I would say 1:20 is doable. Requires a lot of runs to get the perfect quest drops though
@JPY what are your times btw?:)
What do you guys think is better in total dwarf or Nelf?
In my opinion is it cool to be close to darkshore as a nelf, howver the dwarf has Stoneform which is also very nice!
Just did a little priest undead run to see if it's as hard as people say. It definitely has alot of room of improvement since this is my first and only run for priest. 1h40min is def doable. I ran out of mana drinks too early and had awful rng on this run.

est crazy run man! big props. I knew I had to bind the follow button for my pet but didn't expect such a big difference. You definitely multidot way more than me. You got biggest rng ever on the start though lol. I never get so many lvl 1 bats and lvl 2 skeletons next to eachother :D Just got back from Avengers End game so I'll check your route tomorrow and let you know if there's even anything I can still help you improve for your 1h20min run :D
Thanks, yeah that 1-2 was crazy lucky, not only that, but also no resists and two important crits. The multidotting was sometimes a bit overkill, I should've finished some mobs first before pulling new to reduce pushback. With level 8+ I'm not sure, you probably can use the (near) full duration of agony a bit more, though you need to be careful with your health (i just realized I never activated the imp stam buff lol)
FYI, as mage I do the same route but with both weed quests and the pumpkin quest and I barely have any experience towards level 11. You can just grind so much better as warlock.
Yes, make sure to have a pet send and pet recall macro. I've been using 1 and shift+1, respectively, but I'm thinking to rebind it to mouse wheel and get used to that. I use this constantly.
Also, I'm sure you all know that manual taunting is the way to go with Voidwalker so he doesn't go oom, but what I haven't seen many people doing is toggling the autocast with a macro... this is way easier than pure manual taunting. Here's the macro that works with one button:
/script local i,g=1,0 while GetSpellName(i,"pet") do if GetSpellName(i,"pet")=="Torment" then g=i end i=i+1 end local _,y = GetSpellAutocast(g,"pet") do ToggleSpellAutocast(g,"pet") end
Also... starting to get a little jealous of you undead guys. That early mana pool + early Imp is sooo nice. The Orc starting zone is still pretty solid though.

We have the same early mana pool :P 3 shadowbolts and we're oom.
Whoops, it's been a while since I played undead. I thought they got 5 shadowbolts.
