I never got to play the original Vanilla due to age but I remember watching my Cousin play whenever I'd end up around my aunties house, I definitely remember the game looking much better but back then I guess it was out of this world graphics wise ahaha. Post some of your fondest screenshots from Vanilla here and lets get some more hype going because I'm starving for that Vanilla ice cream.
Luckly i have my old HDD with around 500 Screenshots from Vanilla to end of WOTLK (where you all had to convert them from TGA or so) Have to plug the HDD in and upload them the next weekend or so

I lost all my late TBC/WOTLK screens when one of my old HDDs died on me, now I tend to upload anything worth reminiscing to Dropbox for safe keeping

Dolamite had a pretty awesome screenshot of his level 60 priest in character selection which I’d like to see again.

It wasn't even great graphics back then either. Keep in mind there were games like Doom 3, Half Life 2, Chronicles of Riddick, Far Cry, Halo 2, Ace Combat 5, etc that all released that year. I'm sure there's more that I can't think of that were also really pushing the graphics edge around the time WoW released. In fact, the relatively low system requirements for WoW is widely considered a major part of it's success.

This is the only pic I have left from vanilla. All my screenshots (and any previous digital pictures) were erased after my old external drive crashed. From what I can tell and remember I am on my rogue grouped with Dolamite , coming into the blasted lands from the south.
