If linen is selling for 28c or less on the AH, tailors can make a profit by buying it from the AH, weaving it into bags, and vendoring the bags.
1 RED linen bag costs 50c worth of red dye and 1s worth of thread, and vendors for $2.50, yielding a net gain of 1s for the cloth put into it.
1 RED linen bag costs 4 bolts of linen, each of which costs 2 linen cloth, for 8 cloth total, yielding a vendor price of ($1.00/8) = 12.5c per linen cloth.
It's obviously a worse deal than the normal linen bags but might be worth it if you can still get skillups from it.

It's obviously only profitable during these early days, when cheap linen is flooding the AH because everybody is grinding the level 1-10 zones and nobody has any money. We'll see if linen is still cheaper than 28c a month from now :)
