Hello!

I have an idea (not an original idea) but once Classic hits we can do some walkthrough threads or in some kind of subforum. I used to do this in Diablo II singleplayer on d2jsp and it was alot of fun.

For instance you post screens of your dings and progression while leveling such as drops, quests and zones and other fun adventures. Also some RP for those who are into that.

It's usually a great read and it is fun to follow progress especially if you are away and can't play yourself for instance. You can even link to smaller videos of hard mob kills or rares, PvP and what ever you want in your walkthrough.

Whatcha all think?

Great idea!

I'm sure a lot of people on BC will end up on different servers/regions/factions so being able to share our in-game achievements would be cool.

Maybe also a leaderboard of dates for level 60 along with a screenshot of the ding?

Seconded, I've made walkthrough posts before about my experiences on pservers and the beta and really enjoy it. Small screenshots and details, recounting dungeon runs etc. I really love writing stuff like that.

Love this, I thought it was more like walk through guides when I read the question so I said no. I definitely think yes!

Could be fun to have the thread and maybe as a sign off for the day you post on the thread after a session to talk about what you did and where you're at now.

Super cool!

Yeah I'm going to compile my experiences as a forsaken warrior for sure. Being a tank would mean lots of dungeons as well, so there's always good material to work with :D

Hopefully my guild will kick off well and I can turn it into a semi "guild adventures" post eventually. Now whether I'll have the time to do this or not is a different topic :p

Any suggestions for a non-ad riddled free website/blog site for such "guild adventures" type of thing? Blogspot/wordpress just doesn't cut it for me, as it looks very "business". I want it to be easy to navigate, with probably posts of different adventures, easy on the eyes (and no ads). Perhaps this already exists with some wow-guild extension or guild charter functionality..? Back in the day there were dozens of sites like these, not sure what is being used these days (if any).

I really liked the "4 dwarf buddies' adventures" that was linked either here or classic wow subreddit few days ago!

I really love this idea. It is pretty much always great to read about adventures of some other guy. I will actually make my own walkthrough when classic goes live.

Was actually planning on doing this with my group of friends. Except I would rather probably be posting videos of it on youtube instead.

That's a very cool idea! I definitely will be doing a journal with the highlights of my leveling process. Thanks!

I don't think I have time during the level phase to maintain such a thing because the schedule is super tight with me. I will probably be able to post a maximum of what level I am currently at. But maybe I will only post this on Twitter.
