I'm currenty still low level and levelling and something I've noticed is there is a huge abundance of levelling guides. I'm unsure which is the best or how to differentiate between them. Some are made for specific classes and that helps but some seem more general. I'm currently using the Zygor guide but have looked at some others.
I'm curious what anyone here thinks. Have any of you used levelling guides for classic? Which ones did you like and why?
Well... I'm completely biased but I like:

I'm only at level 35 on my ret paladin, but it's been awesome so far.
Random newbie question: How fast is leveling using a guide?
Right now, with my first character I'm using no tools or guides, just slowly leveling with a friend and exploring - basically soaking the classic experience, and it's enjoyable. In the future, if I were to level up an alt I imagine that I'd use some sort of a guide to optimize on time probably. Wondering how fast it will feel using a guide.

I'd say, if you're totally new and have little knowledge of the vanilla world, a leveling guide would probably cut your time to 60 by 30% at least. Maybe more. What they often focus on are minimizing travel time and low-hanging fruit quests. So I guess what? average time to 60 for someone new I'd guess is like 8 days /played? A guide could probably make that more like 6. If you're playing 4 hours a night, that means hitting 60 12 days earlier.
I've leveled three toons off Joana's guide and my wife is currently using it on her two toons. Worth the $27!

Nice. Always liked Joanas. I used to use it back in TBC era. Are you using the horde or alliance one?
I've been using Jame's guide on multiple playthroughs. It hasn't let me down yet.

Both. Some are missing class specifics but if you know when to grab class quests Joana will gladly implement what you send him if he feels it fits right.
I've leveled my hunter my rogue and currently leveling a mage. My wife has leveled a hunter and is working on a mage as well.
This one's excellent and free: https://classicwow.live/leveling . Created by people who have been playing vanilla on private servers since 2012 (maybe earlier, but that's when I got introduced to their names for the first time) for the community. It incorporates your class specific quests into the levelling guide seamlessly and doesn't make you go do quests you have no business doing (such as quests with mobs 1-2 levels higher than you). Would very highly recommend it!
