For me, it's probably the Stonetalon Mountains. I have lots of nostalgia there. Doing the escort quest and fighting the bad guy Tauren. And then the big valley w/ the Venture Co.
It's also where I usually always end up experiencing world PvP for the first time. Sady, horde players skew lower level, 16-21, while Alliance players in the zone are more like 25.
Azshara . People usually despise it because of it's lack of content but I find it beautifiul for this exact reason. It's like is not there to please the player, but just beacuse it makes sens to have this zone here.
Also is a good plce to farm resources without too many people interfering

Azshara I've actually always liked. Yeah its a bit empty-ish, but I've always thought the zone could have had a lot going for it given some extra time. I mean the Azshara Crater BG was supposed to be there, but also I think it was just one of those zones Blizzard gave up on adding more quests/content for. Most players back in the day regarded Azshara as an unfinished zone. I think it maybe got a couple more quests later, and Azuregos, but that's it.
Vashj'ir.
Can confirm, Vashj'ir blows pretty hard.
STV. I love the atmosphere especially Booty Bay. Most hate it for the ganking.

I love STV, the ganking just makes it even better. If anyone even manage to kill me. It's like you're always on edge, I love that.
Felwood.
It's a spooky zone with a decent soundtrack and quite a few challenging quests in the demon caves.
Usually a hotspot for world PVP because of fire elementals and felcloth.
Honestly, I don't mind Desolace. I kind of liked the "gray Barrens" aesthetic, doing the Centaur rep grinds, the Troll village on the coast. Kind of a pain to get around in but it was a pleasant surprise to me the last time I leveled through there.
I also didn't know people hated Stonetalon. I've always liked that place, even though it has that (I think only) one central graveyard for Horde. It's a real big pain in the ass to die in the Night Elf area up north and have to walk back.
