I'm kind of obsessed with this song 'Take On Me' at the moment. It's a cover of the 80s group a-Ha by Weezer with some guest band members
I am kinda big on Weezer. But A-Ha remains terribad no matter what kind of band covers it, period.
My current obsession is Sound City, an album recorded by many musicians who recorded at the Sound City Studio, put together by Dave Grohl after he bought the Neve sound board when they closed. Highly recommend it just for the the sound the board captures from the instruments, it’s just a lot more raw then current digital. I’ll probably crank it while leveling in pre-patch.
@tuesdae Are you talking about reel to reel? Your post peaked my interest so I listened to it on spotify and its pretty awesome, I liked the track with Stevey Nicks a lot
I've been listening to a lot of Fruit Bats while questing, but for the constant action of dungeons I usually play this live Motorhead album.
I listen to Three Days Grace, Saint Asonia, Jonathon Young, Disturbed, etc.
Linkin Park
Can you guess? Currently I listen to a lot of George Shearing while I'm playing WoW. Like SarahNolan I also enjoy the Beatles sometimes while I play.
Give me Jazz, coffee, and World of Warcraft, and I'm set!
So now I have a better perspective of what musicians listen to in their turn. I am not a musician myself, and I have always been interested in whether you listen to music in the same way as nonmusicians do.
I know people who can tell the difference between different high quality guitar picks and tell who’s playing the instrument. I’ve never had an ear for music and can only listen to it and admire it.
How long does it usually take to learn to play some basic guitar stuff? I want to try to learn too, but I’m afraid I am too old for that, and it will take me too long.
Does anybody listen Jaychou?
