Hey hey,
I’d presume that most folks now have long hit 60 (not all, I am sure!) and maybe experimented with some alts. I’m sure some of you have multiple levels 60s!
Personally I’ve got a 60 Mage (my first ever max level on WoW, so this was a big achievement!) and I’m geared up from MC and clearing BWL. Got my T2 shoulders the other day and they are preeeeetty sweet.
I’m now thinking it’d be nice to level up an alt. With that in mind, I was wondering, what do you think is the most FUN class in Classic?
I’m just interested in totally subjective responses, with your reasoning, as to which class you find the most fun overall.
Looking forward to reading your responses!
Druid as it's just so dynamic. You can heal, tank, or dps on-the-fly. You're also great in wPvP. Plus, everyone underestimates you always.
Rogue on a pvp server.
I picked it as my first alt and it didn't disappoint, I find different ways to mess with people every day.
-I can just go stealth in front of the enemy faction and see them freak out and jump around furiously
-with mind control cap I can get them killed in the most unexpected ways in neutral towns like Booty Bay
-help them into the water while getting on the boat wih distraction
Rogue has this kinda meta-game to it with the stealth mechanic, only druids can do something similar but the lack of vanish makes them secondary in this. Messing with people is really fun and you can turn leveling into a one-sided battlefield if you feel like ambushing someone fighting a mob. Yeah, it's an as**ole thing to do but that's the point of the rogue, innit?
i think theres no overall most fun class, every class has its fun parts
but personally regarding an alt besides your main who is mage id consider a class that potentially fills other roles, because activities that differ from your usual actions often turn into fun.
thats why i (only my personal opinion) would refrain from warlock and hunter because they're also ranged dds.
thinking about it id probably go druid or shaman - other armor types, druids could tank/heal, shaman heal and is gernerally a blast with all the totems. and both classes usually are easier equipped if brought to an alt raid, contrary to warriors/rogues. their main bonus of course that druid/shamans can hump/teabag things in cat/wolf form by spamming /sit
I think of Rogue and Druid

I gotta agree here.

Yep, same here!

Coming from Druid players lol
I am not a Druid player, leveled one in vanilla to 20 and didn't like it for some reason.
But now since I created one as my alt, they are extremely fun!
So I too agree with you guys....but what we think are fun might not be fun for OP

Being a jack of all trades but a master of none is a very niche thing. I personally hated that the mage was a better caster, the rogue was a better meele dps, warrior was a better tank, and I care not for heals. I'm sure it can be fun but it's definetly, know many people who love it, but once again, very niche.

That's what makes them terrifying in PvP.
PvE your not the best but the flexibility to change before and during the dungeon/raid is amazing!
We lacking healing this week, heal, need an off tank, tank, need more dps, dps
I get alot of people want to pick a class to be the best at something, but having a class that does it all makes it less boring when you get sick of a role.
Instead of leveling 3 characters to experience healing, tanking and dpsing you can just level a druid and do all 3 and change when you please. He's looking for an alt and a druid is a good option unless he wants a specific role that is the best at it, like his main The Mage.
And how is turning into a Bear, Lion, Jaguar, or animals not FUN?!?
I really enjoyed leveling my shaman. I tanked 3 dungeons, healed two dungeons, and dps'd the rest. That was the most fun I had with Classic.
It's a really mixed bag for me because every class has downsides that counter the plus sides. I love that Warlocks get the only instant cast proc in the game, but I find Life Tap tedious. I'd rather just spend talent points to reduce warlock mana hungriness to not have to life tap.
Feral druid is super cool and fun, for reasons stated above.
