Copenhagen, Denmark but moving to the US this September!

I'm curious to hear that story! I'm an American who moved to Sweden 2 years ago. Welcome to the expat life!

Oh yeah, no welfare or anything like that. Overwork is just expected, and may heaven have mercy on you if you dare step out of line without conforming to the group.
Being a foreigner helps though. It's a little difficult to fit in, but generally people are very open and welcoming, and you are cut a LOT of slack for being a foreigner compared to regular Japanese workers. It's a little disgusting tbh. Paygap is massive too.
But it's a beautiful country with a very mysterious and interesting culture. Food is awesome too.
Funny how nobody has basically ever even heard of WoW. Sure hope I can become a little more social in classic, been all but playing a single player game these last few years. Being able to farm conveniently in off-peak hours is nice though!

Yeah went here as a tourist just before my 20th birthday and totally fell in love with the place.
Made it my goal to move here to work and have a life before my 30th birthday. Took a while, but finally got a fulltime job and settled down about 2 months before that birthday came! Eventually met my wife etc. Life's good :) But would be better if classic would bloody well come out soon :(

Multiple expats around here, pretty cool

I started playing basketball when I was young and through that I found an enormous interest in American sports and culture. I have since then been to the States three times, and in one of those visits I met a guy who introduced me to shipping and logistics and its international opportunities. I applied for a job in the field back home and started the two year education. Once I graduate this summer my contract ends with the company in Denmark and I got the a job working for the same guy I met in the US. The location is subject to change, but we're assuming NYC, LA og Chicago.

I am only 21 so it's going to be tough, but they're going to help me get situated.

The overwork especially is something I would be worried about, coming from Danish culture. Weird how they cut you so much slack, I would assume you would have to prove your worth even harder as a foreigner.

Definitely convenient for farming in off-peak hours!

Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. When we get closer to release, I would love to play on the same server! I don't care if its Horde or Alliance.

If you want to roll with my guild just jump in our discord (can find link on epochofthought.com. You don't have to commit to being in our guild we allow friends, and we have an alliance guild that will be joining us on the same server as well.
