I'm just wondering who gets Atiesh first in terms of classes, what do you reckon are the guild requirements to get it, do you need to be the Gm/an officer?
Just want to know for obvious reasons since I'll be playing a mage
Hunters, of course.
Krunk Im asking this quite seriously because everywhere where I've looked thats the answer I get
Well lets throw this here for comparison
Mage: https://classic.wowhead.com/item=22589/atiesh-greatstaff-of-the-guardian - Spell Crit 2%.
Druid: https://classic.wowhead.com/item=22632/atiesh-greatstaff-of-the-guardian - 11 mana per 5 sec.
Warlock: https://classic.wowhead.com/item=22630/atiesh-greatstaff-of-the-guardian - dmg + healing by 33 points.
Priest: https://classic.wowhead.com/item=22631/atiesh-greatstaff-of-the-guardian - Healing done by spells by 62.
I think because of the party spell damage warlock could be the winner,
If your guild favours keeping the raid alive then priest would probably get it.
As a Druid main I can safely say this should go to druids.
I mean all the party effects are amazing!
I think Druid, Warlock and Priest could each be considered first.
I would pick either priest or druid because druid would help all mana users even hunters! Yeah Hunters! lol
And plus healing will help all healers not just priest.
The plus spell damage only helps mages and warlocks. (I know dmg/healing helps healing but...more healing is better)
But warlocks and mages are the bulk of your damage in the raid.
Mage one seems the best to me. Although I would rly love having it myself as priest :D
Nyxt the mage one gives a crit aura which is good for holy paladins
@Nyxt the mage one gives a crit aura which is good for holy paladins
I know!
They are all good!
Hence its a legendary staff but one needs to get it first...I just feel the other might be better
To be honest you could argue one is better than the other!
I suppose the better way to ask is, who in the guild gets the staff since it's great for every class?
The person who wields the most guild influence will be rewarded with this item. This will either be the guildmaster or if this is not applicable to his class, a close officer. While we could break down the value of the item and try to decipher which class will produce the highest value with said item, even in a min/max guild, this is the reward for leading a guild to its success.
The item is so exceptional that it doesnt fall within the same realm as other loot. This is a guilds banner.
@Apol In all honestly, having Atiesh posses no significant benefit, in the end every boss can be defeated without it. I'd have it on someone who can use it to accomplish something extraordinary like a warlock tank or priest tank.
It definitely possesses a significant benefit, regardless if the bosses can be defeated without it. By this logic, world buffs are insignificant... Many consumes are insignificant. Look at the stats and the buffs provided... This is a VERY significant item with significant benefits.
edit: hence why it will be rewarded to a significant member of the guild
In order to get Atiesh, your guild has to have all of AQ40 and Naxx on farm, so it'll go to whomever has the most influence, as the buff is just for making farming easier.
where is the option for hunter?
