I'm starting to get hyped. I just watched the movie a few days ago... so it's about time to fire it back up again.
I actually liked that movie, and I generally don't watch TV or movies. I don't remember a lot about it other than everybody around me shitting on it, and I remember thinking it wasn't bad at all.
Instead of watching the Warcraft movie though, I've been catching up on old Machinima from the original game. There's a lot of good ones I never saw back then.
I don't remember there being a "World of Warcraft" movie, but there was definitely a Warcraft movie that wasn't too bad and I do plan on watching it tomorrow.
I've been watching for 3 months already lol
Already did. Yesterday :)
Honestly, it was better that I remembered.
Pippina , that is a good idea! Any machinima you wish to suggest in particular?
Good idea. Might as well just watch it, because when I did the first time, it was on a laptop, so you can imagine the quality and sound. Now I have 4K TV and 5.1 audio setup. Thanks!
I'm pretty sure that movie is going to be the reason some people roll Orc Warlock :D Guldan looks pretty badass
Any machinima you wish to suggest in particular?
Illegal Danish Supersnacks was pretty good. Right now I'm like 10 episodes into the Chronicle of the Annoying Quest.
I think I will, thanks to your suggestion!
I wasn't.
I'm going to now.
No, i did not enjoy it. Too many changes to the original story and i am a warcraft lore purist.
The CGI was excellent though.
I wasn't.
I'm going to now.
Yeh if I can find the time I'm in the same boat.
The Warcraft movie looked like one of the worst things ever, especially considering the source material. How in the hell did Blizzard allow that to be made? Did Activsion force them?
It was watchable the first time around because of the excitement of finally getting a big budget Warcraft movie. I don’t think l’ll be watching it again though.
I read Rise of the Horde and The Last Guardian (which the movie draws from extremely loosely), the movie is a violent rape of the original stories, calling it an adaptation ("because movies need to be approached differently" argument) is an affront to the potential that that movie had. WARCRAFT wasn't an adaptation of good writing into a well constructed script, it was a butchering of said writing to build a forgettable experience.
The CGI was outstanding, but isn't it always the case these days.
