Right now World of Warcraft has the most views on Twitch! 125K views!
And guess what, it is almost all Classic that is being streamed!
The hype is mainstream!
It had little over 200k earlier I think at one point during today, and GTA had like 180-190k at #2 So that's pre impressive.
Just have to say that this is normal for WoW. All Xpacks got to Place 1 on Release or on Beta. I mean it is cool to see that this is even happening with Classic but i do not think it stays the way all way down with Classic.
Even more impressive when you consider it's basically a 15 year old game.
Hoping they divide Classic and BFA on twitch so we can see the difference in viewers when numbers of viewers have stabilized.
It hurts to see that ´´BFA´´is top of twitch while 99% of the streams is actually playing Classic.
I can tell you, I've never really watched Twitch before, but I made an account last night while I was stuck in the queue. I suspect there are a lot like that who were piling in to see what was happening on the other side of the login screen.
I hope it's a sign of things to come rather than just a sign of a new release. I really really hope that Classic's success has positive chain reaction with development that reaches all the way to retail.
But if not, I'm still insanely satisfied with just having Classic as it is.

When people see what Classic has to offer and they see the big guilds fighting with other guilds and whole raids being wiped, it can be a big thing on Twitch :D For a long time!
