PvE Enhancement Shaman Best in Slot (BiS)

As they progress through endgame content in Mists of Pandaria, Enhancement Shamans will seek out gear that provides the greatest amount of Agility and other stats.

Shamans can use Cloth and Leather as well as Mail, but you should always wear Mail due to the 5% increased Agility you receive through your Mail Specialization passive ability.

Phase 1 Best-in-Slot Items

This is the best gear that you can obtain in Phase 1 of Mists of Pandaria, including gear from the three Tier 14 raids: Mogu’Shan Vaults, Heart of Fear, and Terrace of Endless Spring. Don’t forget to gem, enchant, and reforge every item to complete your optimization.

Both Tier 14 set bonuses are strong for Enhancement Shamans, so you will want to prioritize those. If you have all of your set bonuses covered, the best slot to swap out for a non-set item is your Shoulder slot. You’ll always want to dual wield, and you should look for slow weapons that hit hard. We’ve included alternatives for slots where there is at least one other item that is very close in terms of power.
