PvE Holy Paladin Best in Slot (BiS)

Gear is your character’s main source of power and progression in World of Warcraft. As Holy Paladins progress through Mists of Pandaria, they will seek to maintain consistent mana regeneration while also leaning more and more into their throughput stats.

Paladins can use any kind of armor, but you should always wear Plate due to the 5% increased Intellect you receive through your Plate Specialization passive ability. The Relic slot is gone in Mists of Pandaria, so you won’t be equipping Librams anymore.

Phase 1 Best-in-Slot Items

This is the best gear that you can obtain in Phase 1 of Mists of Pandaria, including gear from the three Tier 14 raids: Mogu’Shan VaultsHeart of Fear, and Terrace of Endless Spring. Don’t forget to gem, enchant, and reforge every item to complete your optimization.

Both Tier 14 set bonuses are worth pursuing for Holy Paladins. When you have your set bonuses covered, Legs are the best slot to trade out for a non-set item. We’ve included alternatives for slots where there is at least one other item that is very close in terms of power.
