PvE Assassination Rogue Gems, Enchants, & Consumables

In this section we will cover the best enchants, gems, and consumables for Assassination Rogues in The Burning Crusade Classic. To provide highest level of accessibility, enchants from Classic WoW raids such as Naxxramas will be excluded from this list.

Gems

Low-Gear

• Green – none
• Yellow – Rigid Dawnstone
• Blue – none
• Red – Delicate Living Ruby
• Purple – Shifting Nightseye
• Orange – Glinting Noble Topaz
• Meta: Relentless Earthstorm Diamond

High-Gear

• Green – none
• Yellow- Rigid Lionseye
• Blue – none
• Red- Delicate Crimson Spinel
• Purple- Shifting Shadowsong Amethyst 
• Orange- Glinting Pyrestone

Enchants

Armor

• Head – Glyph of Ferocity
• Shoulders – Greater Inscription of the Blade (Requires Exalted with The Scryers) or Greater Inscription of Vengeance (Requires Exalted with The Aldor)
• Cloak – Enchant Cloak – Greater Agility
• Chest – Enchant Chest – Exceptional Stats
• Bracer – Enchant Bracer – Assault
• Hands – Enchant Gloves – Superior Agility
• Legs – Nethercobra Leg Armor
• Feet – Enchant Boots – Cat’s Swiftness or Enchant Boots – Dexterity

*Note: If you selected Enchanting as one of your two professions, you can choose between Enchant Ring – Stats and Enchant Ring – Striking, or one of each, if you’d like.

*Note: If you are using a bow, crossbow, or gun, you can apply an enhancement to it, as well. However, none of the available enhancements benefit your melee damage, so it’s not a priority.
