There is a technique that allows you to get a melee attack off while channeling. You can see the following video for more info, and below that you’ll find additional details and a macro you can use to pull off this tech!

Turns out you can melee while casting channeled spells! I’ll do a full article on it later but for now it’s a little janky, you can see it in action in the video above.

It only works if the weapon you’re wielding is faster than your spell casting time, and everything changes if you get hit and take spell pushback so here’s what the macro looks like:

/stopattack/stopcasting [nochanneling:Mind Flay]/startattack/stopattack/startattack/cast [nochanneling:Mind Flay] Mind Flay

You can replace your channeled spell button with this macro. Feel free to experiment on it so that we can clean it up a bit and make it awesome.
