Rumors Suggest Naxx in December, TBC Classic Beta in Q1 2021

Former core team member from the Nostalrius Project today posted on Twitter that he’s been hearing some rumors around a Naxxramas release in December, with a TBC Classic Beta rolling out in Q1 of next year.

Haven’t confirmed it yet but the hottest rumors for Classic WoW: Naxxramas release is planned for early December with a TBC Beta rolling out in March/April of 2021! Sooner than expected but we’ll see!

For those of you not familiar, the Nostalrius Project was a very popular Vanilla WoW private server that was famously shut down by a cease and desist from Blizzard. Their shut down let to a petition to Blizzard with more than 200,000 signatures and the Blizzard leadership meeting with the Nost team. This is widely credited with being a pivotal turning point in Blizzard’s stance on legacy versions of World of Warcraft and lead to WoW Classic.
