Hallowfall Arathi Renown Guide

The Hallowfall Arathi are champions of the Sacred Flame who protect Beledar, the giant crystal in the Hallowfall zone. They are descendants of the Arathi Empire, the powerful human tribe would eventually become the seven human kingdoms of Azeroth. They’re also one of the four primary factions on the continent of Khaz Algar. The faction was added to the game with The War Within and is the third one that players encounter on the continent.

How to Get Hallowfall Arathi Reputation

To start earning Renown with Hallowfall Arathi, you must first unlock the faction for your Warband by completing the Khaz Algar main story campaign through the quest The Light of the Dawntower. This quest is required to unlock the faction, but once it is unlocked you will not need to do so again for any of your characters. The quest is completed shortly after you arrive in Hallowfall, though you will need to complete the first half of the story in Isle of Dorn and The Ringing Deeps before you get there.

There are 25 ranks of Renown, each with their own rewards. Each level of Renown requires 2500 points of reputation with the faction. To see your current progress, open the Khaz Algar Summary by clicking on the icon in your minimap, then click on Hallowfall Arathi. You can hover over the faction icon at the top of the window to see your current progress. You can also open the Reputation tab of your Character window (default hotkey U) and hover over Hallowfall Arathi there under The War Within.

Once you have unlocked the faction for your Warband, there are several ways to increase your reputation with the Hallowfall Arathi:

• Completing standard quests in Hallowfall
• Killing rare spawns in Hallowfall
• Locating the five lore objects for Khaz Algar Lore Hunter in Hallowfall
• Completing the Spreading the Light World Event in Hallowfall
• Completing World Quests for the faction across Hallowfall
• Completing any World Quests in Khaz Algar while Contract: Hallowfall Arathi is active

Note that only the World Quests and Spreading the Light event are repeatable for earning reputation.

Hallowfall Quests

Many quests across the Hallowfall zone provide Hallowfall Arathi reputation when completed for the first time on your Warband. These quests will be the quickest way to get started with the faction, but you will eventually run out of quests and will need to farm reputation through the other activities listed below.

Hallowfall Rare Spawns

Many rare spawns throughout the zone provide reputation with Hallowfall Arathi when killed. They grant 150 reputation each, but only once per week. You can see all of their locations in our Khaz Algar Rare Locations & Achievements Guide.

Hallowfall Lore Objects

Five of the lore objects required for the Khaz Algar Lore Hunter achievement can be found in Hallowfall. Each of these five discoveries grants 250 reputation with Hallowfall Arathi when clicked. You can see all of their locations in our Khaz Algar Lore Hunter Achievement Guide.

Hallowfall Arathi World Quests

There are many World Quests scattered across Hallowfall that award reputation with Hallowfall Arathi. They will be marked for the faction when you hover over them on your map. They’re all covered in our Hallowfall World Quest Guide.

Spreading the Light World Event

The Spreading the Light event requires character level 80 and Renown level 3 with Hallowfall Arathi to unlock. The weekly quest for this event is Defender of the Flame, which you can pick up from Keyrra Flamestonge at Shadowgrove Vineyards (65.4, 32.2).

To participate, kill mobs in the event area to loot Radiant Remnants and use them to light the Keyflames. Lesser Keyflames require 3 Radiant Remnants and reward currency and Explorer-level loot. Major Keyflames require 20 Radiant Remnants and allow bonus objectives in the area. When a Major Keyflame expires, a rare elite mob will spawn nearby. As you earn renown with the Hallowfall Arathi, you’ll unlock some helpful bonuses for this event. These can be found in the Content Unlocks section near the end of this guide.

Contract: Hallowfall Arathi

Contract: Hallowfall Arathi is a crafted item that you can use once a week. When used, your entire Warband will gain 15 reputation with Hallowfall Arathi every time you complete a world quest in Khaz Algar. The contract expires with the weekly reset.

This item can be crafted with the Inscription profession. You’ll need at least level 80 in Khaz Algar Inscription and rank 4 with the faction to craft it. Technique: Contract: Hallowfall Arathi can be purchased from the Hallowfall Arathi quartermaster with 150 Artisan’s Acuity. Here are the ingredients to make the contract:

• 25x Apricate Ink
  • 20x Distilled Algari Freshwater
    • Purchased from Kardu in Dornogal (48.6, 70.8)
  • 5x Luredrop Pigment
    • Milled from Luredrop x10
  • 10x Nacreous Pigment
    • Milled from Mycobloom x10
• 1x Fresh Parchment
  • Purchased from Kardu in Dornogal (48.6, 70.8)

Hallowfall Arathi Quartermaster

You’ll find Auralia Steelstrike, the Renown Quartermaster for the Hallowfall Arathi, at Mereldar in Hallowfall. She’s inside a round red tent almost directly below the flight master (41.3, 53.1).

Hallowfall Arathi Rewards

Earning Renown with the Hallowfall Arathi unlocks access to rewards and content in Khaz Algar for your entire Warband.

Vendor Rewards

The following rewards can be purchased from Auralia Steelstrike at the appropriate Renown level.

Currency Rewards

Periodically as you level up your renown, you’ll be able to visit Auralia Steelstrike to turn in quests that grant currency rewards. Be sure to check in with her every so often so you don’t miss anything.

Content Unlocks

You’ll also unlock content as you level up your renown, including the Spreading the Light World Event and a new title for your characters.
