Lord Kazzak – 20th Anniversary World Boss

Welcome to our World Boss Guide for Lord Kazzak in the 20th Anniversary Event! An original World Boss from Vanilla WoW, this Demon boss can once again be found in the Blasted Lands for the duration of World of Warcraft’s Anniversary.

This World Boss is required for the achievement The Originals.

Lord Kazzak Location

Lord Kazzak is located in The Tainted Scar in Blasted Lands (32.5, 49.1). The best way to get there is by getting the Honor Hold Mage in the Stormwind portal room or the Thrallmar Mage in the Orgrimmar portal room to teleport you to Blasted Lands. You can also fly there from Stranglethorn Vale.

Lord Kazzak Abilities

Lord Kazzak has most of the same abilities and mechanics he had in Vanilla WoW, and 879 million health. You can face this boss as low as level 15, since the encounter scales. As a World Boss, you will need a sizeable group to defeat this enemy.

• Mark of Kazzak: This debuff deals damage to everyone within 5 yards of the target for 3 seconds, and then explodes, dealing additional damage and knocking back anyone within 15 yards. Spread out to avoid this debuff wreaking havoc.
• Shadow Bolt Volley: An AoE attack that you will need to heal through.
• Void Bolt: A stacking debuff that is placed on the tank, causing them to take more and more damage as the fight goes on.

Lord Kazzak Loot

Lord Kazzak drops the same loot he did in Vanilla WoW, but it has been updated for the modern era. He also drops the Lil’Kaz pet.
