Blizzard Announces Feldrake Twitch Drop
Recently, Blizzard has announced a partnership with Twitch to promote the new Dragonflight expansion for World of Warcraft. As part of this collaboration, Bnet users who link their account to Twitch will have an opportunity to get a few mounts and toys for in-game use based on hours viewed.
The most notable of these rewards is the Feldrake mount. What makes this inclusion so surprising is the fact that previously, the Feldrake mount was only attainable by entering the code found on its WoW trading card game equivalent. What’s even more surprising is copies of the trading card sell on eBay for $3500 USD.
This situation raises a lot of questions, as the price the card commands is based solely on it’s rarity and scarcity– gamers who bought the card on the secondary market will surely feel frustrated to learn that their precious Feldrake is no longer as rare or scarce as it once was.
