Dragonflight Hotfixes June 6th – Further Aberrus Scaling Balance

Previously we saw some tuning done to how Aberrus bosses function and scale for smaller groups which were seeing a disadvantage from the “flex” group system. Our coverage of the previous changes involved the bosses Rashok and The Forgotten Experiments for Normal and Heroic difficulties.

This time around the Echo of Neltharion boss fight is going to be tuned so that smaller groups don’t face an unfair increase in difficulty. Keep in mind that this is only for Normal and Heroic that these changes are going through, as it’s focused on fixing the imbalance in the “flex” group system – which is not available for Mythic difficulty.

Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible
- Echo of Neltharion
  - Slightly reduced Neltharion’s health for smaller groups.
  - Volcanic Heart’s initial damage reduced on Normal and Heroic difficulty.
  - Echoing Fissures’ damage now scales with group size on LFR, Normal and Heroic difficulty.
  - Slightly reduced the Twisted Aberrations’ health for smaller groups.
