New Animated Cinematic for The War Within: Threads of Destiny
Blizzard has unveiled a new animated cinematic for The War Within, titled “Threads of Destiny.” This video reveals how Xal’atath corrupted the Nerubian kingdom of Azj-Kahet, the arachnid faction who will make up her army on the new continent of Khaz Algar.
In the cinematic we see how the kingdom’s previous ruler, Queen Neferess, rejected the offer of the Old Gods in the past. With the Old Gods now gone, Xal’atath successfully recruits Ansurek, Queen Neferess’s daughter, to overthrow her mother and join her cause in hopes of restoring the kingdom’s former glory.
We’ll be facing off against Queen Ansurek and her minions in Nerub’ar Palace, the first raid of the expansion. You can watch the video in its entirety below!
