Race Requirements for Mage, Priest & Rogue Removed in Dragonflight Pre-Patch

lettara lettara • Published October 25, 2022

With the arrival of Dragonflight: Pre-Patch, you will now be able to make a Mage, Priest or Rogue of any race! In effect, 8 new race/class combinations will be available. Not only will this provide players with more choices when it comes to racial abilities, but the hilarity of not-so-sneaky Tauren Rogues and short statured Gnome Priests should be quite the spectacle.

With the arrival of the Dragonflight first phase of the pre-expansion patch, all playable races will be able to join the fray as scholarly Mages, cunning Rogues, or devout Priests. This change will add eight new race and class combinations to Dragonflight, and will be available to all players—even those who don’t own Dragonflight yet. Below you’ll find an updated list of all race and class combinations for both factions.

It’s finally time for all the cloven-hoofed rogues to come out of the shadows. No longer will the scholars of the Kirin Tor be unwilling to teach any and all who show a penchant for the arcane. And the powers of the Light and Shadow will at last embrace all of its devouts equally.

No matter who you choose to be, Azeroth is always in need of more champions. Fight on, hero!
