The Earthen: A Look at the New Upcoming Allied Race

The next expansion for World of Warcraft was announced today at BlizzCon, The World Within, which marks the first in the Worldsoul Saga trilogy. This expansion will release in Fall of 2024, and brings with it a new allied race: The Earthen.

The Earthen are a race of titan-forged dwarves, tasked by their creators with the shaping and maintenance of their structures across Azeroth. As a playable race, the Earthen will be available for both Alliance and Horde.

This Allied Race will be unlockable after leveling another character and completing the Earthen quests in The World Within.

You can see some of the race’s customization options in the images below. Notably, beards don’t appear to be tied to the character’s gender/body type. There are also several different options for skin tones and hair.
